khaled is too superficial and shallow to appreciate tyler's kinda music..he thinks club and radio "hits" are all the people want...nah we actually listen to music

I think Khaled's point was weak. He essentially said "I make top 40 music and I should be on top because this dude is making weird music". He blamed the packaging and bundles, whined about people not playing Tyler on the radio and just came off as a little entitled. To his credit, he's right about the expectations, top 40 will usually beat anything that's not, but that's not because it's BETTER, it just appeals to a broader demographic. Tyler got the #1 spot *in spite of* the fact that he didn't push a radio friendly first single, he dropped an experimental album, he dropped a concept album and he completely diverged from what his core audience expected from him. For an artist that focused on hitting all of the check marks to top the charts to go behind a guy who seemed to do the exact opposite tells me a lot about the greatness of the other guy.

I like IGOR more though. I ran through Khaleds album, I keep listening to IGOR.

I don't always agree with Joe, but this man's podcast is always lit. Love his passion.

Man Joe Budden is ahead of his time with his podcasts. The whole double persona spill artists have at the 11:20 mark is dead on.
