Pioneering, genre-bending German producer DJ Koze debuted his game-changing mix of house, soul, hip hop and R&B at the Sydney Opera House in December 2019, with an epic night of euphoric sounds and exceptional visuals.
In this performance, Koze's "Knock Knock" album collaborator, Róisín Murphy makes a surprise guest appearance to perform a unique version of her Moloko anthem, "Sing It Back", pairing it with a tech house track by Jackmate, "8OSC7SEQ".

Howdee, might result out of Mr. Kozallas "Heritage" in Hip Hop, where the music are quotes already. He is used to that and transforms the principle into an- house song. Quotes are used to express that no own credibilty is given to the singer, so he must Quote, also to show a distance to the original sentence or music Riff and let it be Seen in a different light. And yes, am convinced men. Mr. Kozalla says not too much nothing but the truth. Am thankful to not waste another day w/o listening to his music (and hers). Regards

Roisin is an amazing singer. This is my all time favorite song of Moloko. Her voice just gets even better with age. Timeless beauty and talent. She's the real deal. Roisin deserves Hall of Fame award. Amazing gorgeous woman. I love her beautiful blonde straight cut hair. She have created herself a great image branding which unfortunately was underrated. Nevertheless, she is undeniably and irresistibly timeless👍 I love her❤️❤️❤️

Doin' it you know. Mr. Kozalla, DJ Koze outperforms since the early 1990ies- just speaking about house music. But sure, he is highly gifted, too. Where he comes from there is mild climate so a good environment for creativity (sea climate). Here the air is dry e.g. and wet eyes are welcome. Regards

From the sounds of it some people seemed to only realise it was her (and her song) after she began to sing it back. What a nice surprise indeed. I remember seeing Koze posting stuff about this appearence at SOH on his social. Glad I got to see this part of the performance. His Amygdala set in the now demolished Stattbad Wedding back in 2013 was one of my funnest nights out ever.

Koze is a master, The man of Pampa Records. All his works are brilliant. Smart, Unusual. Not ordinary for mainstream techno. And Roisin gets the best of her here.

The tune is from Michel Baumann aka Jackmate-8osc 7seq from 2003 The Prodigal Son album. Michel has died of cancer on may 23, 2021.

Hello, yes a masterpiece indeed. Good to see that decades of work (finally) pay off. If one should not sometimes see it or get it in written form, it is harder to not give up. But I will buy records when time has come for me. DJ Koze can print his out and ship it to us then. Hamburg, DE is a city that makes not only his work possible- one definition of culture is to get along w/ each other well. We in Germany are lucky also, but DJ Koze ain't lazy which makes me thankful automatically. One unit of respect today, the money tomorrow ;-) Regards.
