House of Pain with Primus in the BG...don't get much cooler than this. Also crazy to hear the confusion over Shrinky Dinx and Sugar Ray, this was before even Lemonade and Brownies. Friggen awesome!
Everlast looks so unbelievably faded in this interview... zoning out at several points and touching his face every few seconds... he's either coming up or coming down on something. They both look absolutely cooked, total units.
As much as I love house of pain, having them on headbangers ball just shows that this show was steadily declining as far as popularity is concerned. Alternative rock ruled the airwaves in 1994 and hard rock/metal wasn't as popular. Sad but that's the way it was.
House of Pain was clearly a band that had no place on Headbangers Ball. Interestingly enough, this was another one of the things that lead to its cancellation in January 1995
I don't know what waves you are talking about but the early to late 90's were the hugest years for Hip Hop everyone and everything was Hip hop unfortunately cats started doing that cheesy rock rap like Limp and so many others I'm a Hip Hop purest it's beats and Rhymes. always loved house of pain though!
@@anthonyarcanumsanctumregnu9551 Well hip hop aside, there was a certain scene in the music world at that time known as “Alternative” and it was the biggest thing around. You can disagree, but in terms of album sales and radio/mtv play, rock bands were a huge deal in the early 90’s. And no doubt you will argue against this, but hip hop in general became much bigger in the late 2000’s. It may not be your hip hop (I’m not a fan myself), but hip hop in the last 10+ years has been as mainstream as it gets. While it did blow up in the 90’s, there was still a lot of people in the early 90’s who weren’t familiar with it. Today it is definitely everywhere.
Well ricki was a house pain fan the thing is that ever body knows the pain guys were metal guys hardcore owl guys what ever you want to call but yeah the should have not been on the show you know what would have been funny is if doctor Dre and snoop dog ya definitely know that they are not down with that crazy white stuff
