When I look at my dad, he comes home from work then has to help my mom with the kids, and it also sucks when he could be called to work during the night

When I was a stay home dad for 2 years, it was the BEST time. I took care of my (2yo) daughters needs, laundry, dishes, AND the yardwork- and was usually all done before noon, then had the whole day to play with my kid. I LOVED it.

But he was so fussy this morning!! 🤣🤣

I'd argue that motherhood is very much the hardest because it's 24/7, 7 days a week, for at minimum 18 years. Ice road truckers work for 2 months a year. Deadliest catch? A couple months. Also they all get PAID hazard pay for what they do. Roofers? Go home every night and their job is over, and they get paid.

Mother's provide the nurture, fathers the standards

A job that carries a high risk of injury or death will almost always be harder than a job that doesn’t. Saying motherhood is a harder job than being in the marines for example is ridiculous, respectfully.

Yeah pits are lovely, beautiful dogs but because they can be trained to be aggressive they have a bad rap- they are strong as hell and can be dangerous if abused or trained to be fighting dogs but they are very sweet inherently as a breed

I have a pitbull and he's the sweetest guy. Poor things get a bad rap.

It's just not pitbulls, fact it that alot of people shouldent own a dog. Treating a dog like a child and taking a few walks a day gonna mess up most dogs in the long run...

It'd be one thing if it was justaggression.the other factor is that they have a reputation for snapping. Outta nowhere Trusting a pitbull with a child is just flat out negligence and endangerment

I don’t know. Every dog we had was sweet. Then a feral chow gave birth under our house to some mutts. We kept one. I don’t remember the exact circumstances because it was so long ago, but it bit my foot. We got rid of it. I do think that there are more aggressive breeds. Doesn’t mean all dogs of that breed are bad, but they have tendencies.

I’m a letter carrier and I agree with you for the most part. The sweetest dogs on my route are pitties. Saying that however, the only time (so far) I was bitten was by a pit. The owners were real bottom dwellers who had no control over them and they were uncontrollable

Exactly, and the worst part is the government didn't spend a dime-we do it for them lol hell most debit cards nowadays have a chip on them, I'm convinced they can and will use that to track someone. Our government is sketchy af

I hope you have someone to go through your trouble because I know I couldn’t go through it alone. @@GingerSnaps13, Brother your reply has me in tears. Thank-you so much. I live with my elderly mother and other than her I have no other family. The dog was as much hers as mine and she's hurtin' bad too. I've come to slowly realize that everything is okay. We gave Molly an awesome life and she loved us. Realizing that doesn't make it less traumatic but you can find some peace of mind knowing you gave a loyal loving dog a great home. Great food, treats, an incredible amount of affection and NO ABUSE. (see michael vick) What I will say is that I learned when the right time is. All other pet's we've had were put down humanely because they developed sicknesses that was making THEIR QUALITY of life bad. I'm saying this to help, when your dog is getting quite old and really slowed down as soon as it goes about 2 to 4 days of not eating or being unable to eat (Molly went 6 days without food), we knew it was the end but the vet just couldn't..... so she passed at home. The final thing to look for in those last 2 or 3 weeks (along with the appetite thing) is loss of control bowel wise. Once you see these symptoms, Do the right thing and ride out the sadness storm. Cheers.
