It's wholesome due to the unity of LA/Compton (and the West Coast by extension), but at the end of the day, the subject matter of the diss track isn't so wholesome. I wish the song was preaching love and unity instead. I still love the song, though.
@@chillblue1650 Nigga the song is literally outing Drake as a predator in multiple different ways which just acts as a way to warn people not to go near him. He turned a massively corrupt predator into a gigantic pariah and saved god knows how many people by doing so. The song has a positive impact.
He and Kendrick has the #1 Rap song in the world. I can’t get over the many countries and cultures that is playing and dancing to this song. The very young to the elders are signing and dancing to this song. This song would not be as successful without that Mustard beat. Life can come at you fast when you least expect it. Kendrick has had world wide success, but you can tell Mustard is still trying to wrap his head around just how big a hit this song is.
Stop the narrative…it’s the song of the summer everywhere.. except like probly weird states like Milwaukee 😂..there’s it’s million dollar white kid or whatever
Imagine wanting to work with someone for so long and when you finally do, yall make the biggest hit in rap history🤯🔥 CONGRATS to both of them 🙌 SOME TIMES YOU GOTTA POP OUT AND SHOW EM💪 "MustardOnTheBeatHO"🎶

*Larry Burkett's book on "Giving and Tithing" drew me closer to God and helped my spirituality. 2020 was a year I literally lived it. I cashed in my life savings and gave it all away. My total giving amounted to 40,000 dollars. Everyone thought I was delusional. Today, 1 receive 85,000 dollars every two months. I have a property in Calabasas, CA, and travel a lot. God has promoted me more than once and opened doors for me to live beyond my dreams. God kept to his promises to and for me*
It is the digital market. That's been the secret to this wealth transfer. A lot of folks in the US and abroad are getting so much from it, God has been good to my household Thank you Jesus
Amazing what a special artist can do, not just music but about your voice !! Guy brought all black gangs together from la, this guy ended drakes career in usa , anyone bring rivals together and make it a family thing to me is a special guy and this guy is special, I'm old skool and its hard to like a new artist because they are jokes, but thus is loved by everyone in Westcoast
Wait wtf 😳…So Mustard doesn’t have a beef with Drake? HE JUST WANTED A SONG WITH KDOT 😱 I thought Mustard was in on the hate train with everyone else 😂
First of all, this man is a musical genius that beat is crazy! I listen to they not like us like five times in the gym. In the car at home everywhere. Proud of the West Coast and Kendrick everything he said about Drake is true. Drake is a Geppetto a colonizer a Malibu's most wanted the fact that he would ever step to a lyrical genius like Kendrick Lamar ! I truly believe Drake will never come back from this. He's officially known as an R. Kelly a.k.a. Geppetto.
I honestly feel like Kendrick was going to drop another diss track within a day or two, before Not Like Us blew up like it did. When you have a song that’s THAT successful and breaking all types of music industry records the last thing you want to do is drop again immediately to take any steam away from it. Look at In Da Club, look at Bodak Yellow, look at Lollipop by Wayne, when a song is THAT big, you have to ride the wave of that single for at least 2 months before you release anything new. Like Mustard said - they knew it was a bop but I don’t think they knew exactly how successful it was gonna be. So Drake got a reprieve lmao
In my opinion, the last truly great rapper was 2Pac, and I have not been impressed with the new rap music that Drake produces. I own three of Drake's albums, and they strike me as being rather ephemeral, lacking the staying power of truly classic music. That said, I am aware that I may be missing out on some exceptional music, so I intend to purchase some albums by Kendrick Lamar to explore his work further.
I've always said Kendrick was good but he need a beat to match and that he should call dj mustard.. you would've thought they would've been figured this out. 😂
DJ Mustard is not FBA. I’m just saying. He is a first gen. Yes, he is from Compton, but his ethnicity is not Black American. Juneteenth is not for him. IJS
So Where He From U Delusional Ya'll Need To Stop With This Fantasy Bs 😒 Fba Bs All Ya'll West African Descendants From Mauritania To Mali Senegambia Sierra Leone Liberia Guinea Conakry And Bissau Conakry Benin Togo Burkina Faso Ghana Niger Nigeria And Central Africa Cameroon That's Ya'll Illusion Fba Ya'll Can Label Ya'll Selves How Ya'll One But Ya'll Not Indigenous Native Americans/ Ameriindians 🏷 👏 😄 🤣
I’m the boogeyman. Love you KL however don’t idolize PAC. He wasn’t from Oakland or the West Coast and he never did a thing for the slum he played in. He followed my brother around in highschool and created a character just like Marilyn Monroe created a persona. He copied his mannerisms and physicality and was a poser a brilliant Actor who lost grip with reality.
K is lame, moaning on every jam foh bro thas lame.. and im not rooting for drake but Drake was before kendrick..who is he to step to an older dude in the game
I love when people are just real about how excited they are about something so big in their life. Some people try to play cool, but I appreciate how he is so genuine about what a fan he is and what a huge thing this is for him
