Since the early 90's dj quik has given us at least 1 smooth tightly composed instrumental on each of his many albums he's come out with. And the reason he is my favorite producer is he sticks to what he knows. He a damn good studio producer and has a good ear for finding good melodies to fuse together. R Bacon and D Blake, thank you both for sharing your love of music and melodies, rhymes and rhythms, beats and sounds with the world. I look forward to hearing more kool laid back grooves in the future.
