I know you're a big fan of Kirstie. If you want to see the video where she first took the lead, watch _Todrick Hall - The Wizard of Ahhhs (ft. Pentatonix)_ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QkVeKb2igrg.html It's generally considered bad form to warn reviewers (no one wants to ruin a good Mitch-slap), but I will give you one warning about this one: If you've never seen _The Wizard of Oz,_ starring Judy Garland, *please* watch it first. _The Wizard of Ahhhs_ will make a lot more sense if you do.
@@mrelixertv By the way, the copyrights for _The Wizard of Ahhhs_ are held by Todrick Hall, not RCA (the record label that publishes Pentatonix), and Todrick seems to be more interested in publicity than in stomping on reactors. You're unlikely to have any copyright issues on this video. Also, it's nearly seven minutes long, so set aside enough time for it.
@@mrelixertv If you're at all worried about it, I'm pretty sure Todrick includes contact information in his comments for the video (or possibly his video comments at the end where he's saying "Like and subscribe,") so you may be able to get in touch and get specific permission. OTOH, this video is *old* (2013 - Kirstie was just 2 months past her 21st birthday when it was published), so some of the information may no longer be valid. You may find more up-to-date information elsewhere on his RU-vid channel.
Problem, Starships, both are great and show off some rapping talents. A really good one for showing Mitch’s talent for rapping is Feeling Myself. It is done by Superfruit( a side project that Scott and Mitch had). They are great. They do musical numbers and comedy vlogs and RU-vid challenges. You’ll have to check it out. Loved this reaction 💕💕
First time seeing anything from your channel, and that Mitch-Slap was epic. It earned my subscription and I'm going to enjoy watching you react to more PTX! I heartily recommend "Can You Feel the Love Tonight". It's incredible.
I enjoyed your reaction. As others have mentioned their rendition of Problem and SuperFruit’s rendition of Feeling Myself is really good. Hope to see you react soon. Greetings from Tennessee 🤗🇺🇸
Avi's voice is very warm, rich and deep and draws you in. He is not a bass that just blends in. When you hear him in a song you can tell it is him, just like Tim from Home Free, when you hear him in a song you can tell that it is him. That's why Avi is so great at being a soloist! Some people have better skills on staying within a group but It's a whole another level when you can also be a successful soloist.
new rules x are You That Somebody butter x Dynamite Superfruit hip hop goes to Broadway Parts 1 and 2. be sure to watch the entire thing because they have bloopers. and do both parts at the same time please and thank you
You should do a live performance. Singapore vista Aha or Popspring performance 2016 you get three orginals and Mitch Raps in one and the Evolution of Michael Jackson. These are both live performances. Enjoying your PTX reactions. :)
most definitely he needs to check out aha. I would start with the official video which was done around 2013. Then do the live aha cuz I don't think you're quite ready yet but you're getting there
A while back I gave you a hard time about your reaction to the PTX cover of Bohemian Rhapsody, and you very graciously took the time to answer me in detail. I don't think I was rude, but I was impatient, and I'm really glad I didn't let that keep me from checking out your PTX reactions since then. You are a terrific reactor and a lot of ;fun, and I always enjoy your unique perspective, especially on our Problem Child, who refuses to be defined by any box. Thanks for another great reaction! You might enjoy their cover of "Havana"... hot!!!
It's no problem or sweat at all I can take constructive criticism it helps me become better at what I'm doing lol it's no biggie on my part but I do appreciate you being so honest and still supporting our channel....most importantly your enjoying the videos
I am late to the show here, but did everyone catch PTX got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame - pretty sure it is fans who affect that the most. PTX kicks behind ;)
You gotta watch Feeling Myself by Superfruit (Mitch and Scott) you will be completely shocked. Problem child for real takes it to another level. I have a feeling he would enjoy being called problem child.
for me personally I prefer this version over the original. that's why PTX doesn't do covers they do upgrades. you watch Macklemore and Lewis's live performance you see all of the accoutrements that they have to do the song. PTX stands there with their accoutrements which are themselves and knock it out of the ballpark. there's another reactor that I watch who has a knack for stopping the video at just the wrong time. but then when he does this and that kills the break up in the emotion when he starts the video backup he goes back five or ten seconds so that you can catch that build up again. I love your reactions and your new reaction "studio"
I knew you were going to stop in the middle of mitch's epic high note. Every reactor does and ruins it and makes me crazy! DON'T STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HIGH NOTES!
That may be a good thing on the artist behalf if you think about it ...if every reactor has the same reaction to the same scenario then Mitch is just that good but I do understand what your saying just giving a slight perspective
Matt is great but Avi has such resonance and depth to his bass that, for me, Matt lacks. As they've gotten further from their time with Avi I find myself seeking out their music less and, honestly, wish Scott and Mitch would break off for a bit to do another Superfruit album because that entire album was fire.
Matt's bass is better fit for the pop/rock Top 40 style covers/originals they do. if you weren't so biased, you'd notice that. Avi is fantastic, but Matt is a better fit, vocally. sometimes Kaplan was too overpowering. as for Superfruit ever reuniting any time soon, not likely. Scott and Mitch are nowhere near as close as they used to be, and haven't been for years.
