As I've gotten older and had kids, "...Endtroducing" is on my required/quintessential listening list to make sure that they and their friends have a solid music background.
I had a hip hop show at KZSU in the late 90s and Entroducing was on heavy rotation. I’m not gonna old man everyone and crap on the music today, but I’m here to tell you the 90s we’re the apex/golden era of hip hop.
All time favorite DJ. He has the skills to show up all the so called "DJs". I don't see why people like it at their concerts when they ain't doing shit. Shadow the best DJ that walks, that's all there is to it.
What a professional performance with just his consoles and his pure skills ! I remember myself young listening to this. It still rocks like the first time , DJ Shadow you are a legend ! I was in Athens Rockwave Festival in 2010 i saw you live on stage !
Glad to see he's still just as bad ass as I remembered. It's been almost 20 years since I first started listening to his stuff and I have to say he's still just as good.
I also miss when he's not using 1200s ...but still true master of his own art... big respect :D Anyone knows what's the drum machine model he's using here??
Ever consider that he finds it more comfortable to hold the sticks that when when playing a drum pad? I don't play drums or a drum pad, but maybe there is a valid reason he does it that way.
Homie is a genius and as a Brooklyn NY dude, I can tell you that he would wipe out most of New York State's best DJ's.......and I'm a NY DJ......I wouldn't go against this guy.....he's just too f'n nice.
