I met DJ Snake last night at the airport here in Brisbane Australia. He was on his way to Stereosonic with his crew. No one even recognised him but me! Haha! Went up to him and told him i was a big fan! Loved his set he just played the day before at Stereosonic Adelaide. Super chill guy and really humble. We spoke for about 5mins while his crew collected the gear. From then on my respect for him is even higher. Wish him all the success and he deserves what he's achieved. Anyone who takes the time out to talk to a fan and get a photo is dope!! You the man Snake!
I met him at the mall here in Vegas,I was the only one who knew who he was!!(He was very sweet) my mom and I both have a crush on him so that made it very awkward.. I have the pic on my Instagram (awkward_natalie)
+nennu1992 Algerian so yeah I was thinking he was a muslim as well, but you don't need to be of a religious faith to say no to drinking and drugs. Honestly, I hope he is a muslim guy :)
No wonder his music has the best beats of all he uses all the old school stuff. I just absolutely love the beats that he puts together and I grew up hip hop as hell.
What a fantastic interview. I used to hate Snake for his very provocative music video, and his name...but he seems like a really cool guy. Plus the interviewers actually seemed to genuinely appreciate his work, which is fantastic.
Snake said "We sold like 10 million from Turn Down For What.....This Is Sumthin"...That was his stunt on us moment...Other than that dude is super humble!! Respect!!!
***** Yh that's what I saw too, he also says in that interview he first started wearin em cos his first big festival gig had him feelin really nervous, and someone recommended em as way of creatin your own little bubble so he wouldn't feel that way anymore, and apparently it worked.
sylarartist Its been out for a while here too.. Just a different version. Slower (90bpm instead of 98bpm or whatever it ended up being) and the beat arrangement was different
+Marcus Perez nah, i was listening to him as well and was also coincidentally dj'ing, this girl was talking about him and im like "dj snake its getting airplay now? that rules"
His set at edc made me totally fall in love. I never saw him live before. I must say that the entire performance was so impressive it made my top 3 sets I've ever seen.
I love his music. He is just a real cool dude. I honestly was looking for an interview video of him because I think he's cute and I wanted to see how his personality was. I was expecting a cocky guy and I was surprisingly wrong. He is WAY more attractive because he is humble, real and just loves to make music. He earns extra points for being smart and for talking about his family. =) I like this guy. Wishing him all the best in his music career.
No drink and no smoke because he’s muslim. The mother’s DJ Snake Côme from algeria, he born and hé live in the peripheri of paris with the arabique community and black muslim
I always thought he was an asshole until I saw an actual interview of him. He seems respectable in the fact that he doesn't even drink and keeps working. He probably doesn't ever smile because he's exhausted. More credit for him man.
I watched this video 100 times. I love djSnake as a man and an artist. He is so humble, funny, natural... I love hearing him talk. Please, invite him again, it's been a while and I am sure he has interesting stuff to tell.
not every thing or best thing came from gringoland! sorry the USA, your country... keep expanding and knowing the rest of best music that exits in other countrys fellows... good luck and good life
AS A DJ AND BEING THE SAME AGE WE HAVE THE SAME MENTALITY SHIT SO CRAZYYYY HANDS DOWN ONE OF THE BEST INTERVIEWS BY FAR. THIS IS HIP HOP... SO DOPE SHOUT OUT DJ SNAKE AND WISH HIM MORE SUCCESS.
Rosenberg never prepares for his interviews what the hell man? How can you not know the guy was French? I remember Konshens (Jamaican artiste) was on the show and he blatantly said he didn't know any of his music. Get it together Peter
Ok..so today I heard the song with AlunaGeorge on the radio and I was like this "this shit is hot!", not knowing who DJ Snake was. While watching this interview, I started listening to all of the songs they're mentioning that he made......I'm a fan....HUGE fan.
Knew the songs but didnt know the name before this interview...Mad respect after this interview...He gets it way more than alot of these new american artist.
