This one was pretty heavily inspired. Firstly, DJ Earworm's recent "Deep Fake" mashup had me shaking my head at that he used an artificially intelligent "Drake" cover of Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car" rather than the official Luke Combs cover that's been taking popular music by storm! Then, on 9.15.2023, the UK-based radio station 97.3 Apple FM had its weekly "Friday Anthems" show, and I was incredibly pleased with the first 2 songs played; "Head & Heart" and "Put Your Hands Up (Kideko Remix)". Mashing up "Head & Heart", "Put Your Hands Up", and Luke Combs' "Fast Car" became the general goal. When I looked into the MNEK & Joel Corry song, "My Head & My Heart" was included in the recommendations, and it came to me that Ava Max's song was produced by Jonas Blue, whose own cover of "Fast Car" was the first version I ever heard. Finally, I found out the maker of "Put Your Hands Up" was a member of the boy band JLS, which persuaded what remains JLS' best song. Like I said... heavily inspired.
