hi I'm currently up and running on winamp shoutcast v2 in on d.s.p plugin on live server, I can't seem to tunein on stations in on winamp It says can't open file ? or save, I reinstalled winamp and didn't fix this... any trouble shooting options you know of I'm on 5-666 and 2-3-5 plugin bit puzzled 😕
I'm not sure I understand your issue. If the server is relaying you should just need to put in the URL:PORT Make sure NOT to use the "s" when entering http. Shoutcast is unsecure so putting in a secure URL won't work.
everything works good in winamp the only thing is in the search station name say I want to listen to Alex Jones I try to tunein an that station pops up a box saying listen but don't can't open file ? so I can't tunein in on none of the stations 😕
@@Jenseninterceptor321 Bummer! I tested it on my winamp and the "Online Services" in the media player on my Winamp worked. I know the shoutcast website won't play most stations directly, it makes you download the "listen.pls" file now and load it into winamp. Good luck! ~J
The audio stream never ends so the DJ's all use the same server for streaming to ppl. Each DJ has their own login credentials. So you need the login and server info to access it during your calendared slot.
@@JVonD i am trying to broadcast with winamp , shoutcast dsp and shoutcast server software on shoutcast directory but when I try to listen my radio from another device it shows me error that "Error: Media URL couldn't be loaded"
hmm, not to sure what the question is. I run ads/live on the show just by running the file in the audio/video player. When not live the jingles get triggered depending on timing set via the calendar that the transcoder runs. Take it easy! ~J
@@bioskahabinivous9906 If you want to run a jingle put it in the winamp playlist and run it. When I'm doing a live show I can have my automation start jingles for me or I can trigger them with hotkeys so I'm not sure what you are having trouble with. Good luck!
@@bioskahabinivous9906 Well if you are trying to monetize your station then you'd want to sign up for the new shoutcast system on their website. When I'm not live I program the server to play jingles periodically but when I'm live I have like 15 ad's along with music all in the Winamp playlist and the "autohotkey" will start them for me as programmed.
