I am by no means a metal composer. I make EDM. But my friend Andrew (zircon) made Shreddage and I used it extensively on several game soundtracks. There have been a few times where the music has called for DOOM level guitar chugs. This is now on my wishlist. Awesome work
As someone who has been extensively playing with and releasing music with virtual guitars for the better part of a decade, any new concept in that arena is really interesting to me. V-Metal, Shreddage 3, Heavier7Strings, and Orange Tree stuff all makes it into my regular rotation. What concerns me is that there’s no demo option available and there’s no audio samples on the product page. I’d love to hear the DI, the articulations, just get a run down of how this sounds in a few different contexts. Very curious about this though!
We absolutely will add sound samples. Thanks for the great comment and feedback! Playing catchup a bit so shoot me an email and mention this comment and we can figure out a way for sure
As a virtual guitar composer that using this type of intrument daily in my releases I'm a little bit dissapointed that there's no demo to try it with your own hands. Overview video is impressive but I want to hear more of the examples of using this instrument in different context (more higher rhythm parts, leads, cleans) Btw looks like a great instrument if you want to make somethig really HEAVY
Seems very promising, I was hoping someone out there would put out a low tuned baritone library. Gonna wait for some reviews to come out before copping it. Is it compatible with MacOS 10.14?
Can someone explain what "Squier® Jazzmaster® Baritone was setup in C#1 Standard & then was tracked down all the way to F#0" means? Was it pitch shifted or is everything at pitch?
Wouldn't it always sound the same though? Is it's not an amp then I'm just hearing someone else samples. Make it a vst amp that I can plug my guitar into.
Great question! Through the technology and methods, it won't sound the same at all, varied dynamics and velocity layers, 12 round robin sample per note, in short an exact representation of the Guitar it's based on 1:1. And good news, I've made a vst amp you can plug into called the II II II II. It in tandem is Djaa Maasta is 🔥
This is very disappointing for me. I would never use this. I play guitar so I don't personally need this. Still cool for those who would use it or need it but just not for me.
This is very important to hear. Thank you for sharing it. Now everybody know, that you don't need it. Thank you again. Oh, and did I say thank you to you? So, thank you, thank you anyway. (sarcasm)
