i"d say the opposite about the tone, both had too much bottom end and too little distortion for a good djent sound, but especially Kmac had a far too round tone. his playing was excellent, but both had a tone made for the ridiculous downtuning or piano string count memes, not the sharp, instantly cut off high end that made the characteristic djent sound
