I just had my first drone experience (I used to fly smaller RC helicopters - nothing fancy and not much experience) and it was amazing, I'm hooked. Couple of months and I'm getting an Avata 2. So user friendly!
You posted this 2 months ago. Please make a follow up. How do you like, love this device ? Would like to hear your experience since this is your first time flying.
@@IslandDigital so far so good. We really like the drone but because of work, we haven’t had time to fly it very much. Vacation coming up in August, so hopefully there will be more testing.
You have such a good point on how having a wifi drone can make ir break the experience since my first drone was the same and it couldn't go past 100 meters without disconnecting and was very slow after 30 metered so I am really looking forward for my mini 4k
A fact that needs correcting is that the ND filters from the old mavic mini ,mini 2,mini 2 se,mini se are all compatible with the mini 4K as they are identical, you dont need new ones if you already own them or are looking to buy
Hi there, as you said the RC N1-C has less battery than the normal N1 would you happen to have a rough estimate on how long does one charge last on the controller ? Thanks :)
Awesome review. Are you aware if the Mini 4K meets the US (FAA) requirement of remote ID capability? I am going to need the remote ID for commercial work (even if the drone is under 250 grams). Thanks!
i have the combo pack mini4k mine only goes 750m away. Before you say it. The flight was pretty much in the middle of know where 5 houses open fields looking directly at it 2nd floor out the window. |Another time about same distance in another area not built up in the mountains area 650m up from sea on the island of La Palma only 70,000 live on the island. What distance are other people getting FYIA
I just purchased one as we speak however, I bought the 449.00 package one.. I have had Autels in the past and I am through with them as far as not carrying batteries and parts, etc.
I’m torn between this and the mini 3. While I’m sure the 48mp could be nice and the vertical option, I’m able to get the fly more 4k bundle for a little more than the price of the base mini 3. I know I’ll want extra batteries so that’s why I’m leaning 4k. I’m sure the image quality of the 4k will be more than nice enough. I doubt I’ll be using this for video creation.
I think my biggest gripe is that they don’t come with active track. I can’t get self cinematic shots if I’m holding the controller. That and the fact that it has geo fencing. I’m not gonna spend 300$ for someone to tell me how I can use the equipment I spent my money on.
You can get some shots without holden the controller with master shots. You just have to be aware of what it’s going to do either way it’s a very nice drawing for $299. I know I fly drones and have many DJI drones.
In US its about $5 to register, Norway $25. So depending on your country and the drone rules you may have to register because it has a camera. You can google drone rules and your country
It does not. It works on the mini 2 though, but that is hard to find bc it’s discontinued and also expensive when you can find it. Be aware it also does not work on the mini 2 SE version, I don’t want you to purchase the mini 2 SE thinking it will work bc I almost made that mistake
RobHK You said that the filters do not work with the Mini 4k that work with the Mini 2 and 2se another person tried them on and said they do work it has the same camera and housing of the Mini 4k just to let you know Great video !
Potensic atom 4k is better choice.Much cheaper for combo with extra follow me mode and waypoint mode.dji need to offer more.dji mini 4k is good for 2020 standard.not 2024.unless it sold for much cheaper price than potensic atom.
That’s what I’m saying. I just bought the FIMI x8 mini v2. I was like f that I’m spending 300$ to get a drone with no follow me and the dji has geo fencing 👎🏼
Funny how a bragging point for drone companies is the range…a lot of good that range is when it’s illegal for your drone to be so far away that you can’t see it anymore…
@@mmz77 yeah, every single car built today has a speedometer that goes higher than the vehicle is capable of….point taken. Both your point and mine are valid.
