It did look pretty good right!?! I think the comparison didn't factor in that most of the GoPro stuff was filmed in flat color. I tried to bring up saturation slightly to give it a better edge but I didn't realize until back at the office that my 5K mode was in flat color. 4k 120 mode was in GoPro color.
I'm not sure we can still put the Action 2 in the same box as the Go Pro anymore! It's like a mix of a high-performing action camera and an ultra lightweight wearable camera.
It did appear that way for the example didn't it! (i turned the boost off on the GoPro and just had standard turned on) I did that so that way the angle of view was similar. I think in most situations though, the stabilization on the GoPro is better.
@@TheAlaskanOutsider well... looking at extreme cases like fpv drones or mtb, stabilization in both cameras is similar (with boost in gopro) but in low lights the Action 2 keeps stabilize when the gopro doesn't. Also, hypersmooth slows up the footage a bit. Like you said in the video, image quality is surely better in gopro due to the bigger sensor but you didn't mentioned that it's clearly visible that DJI manages colors better if you use the camera color profile.
I think both perform really well and I think the action 2 is a modern day hero session. Btw you mention the battery module clips on and you say it's the GoPro but of course it's not 👍
i preffer gopro colors much more.. more vivid more depth in particular, and kind of smoothnes of the tones is better. none the less both are impressive piece of tech. damn!
Action 2 has much better natural colors, no fake oversharpening, better natural stabilization, looks much better in 4k 120 and low light is much much better too, plus the form factor and ease of use are big ups for me, so I went with action 2 without hesitation
Well, it depends on which color profile you selcet on the GoPro. It's seems like this comparisionwas show with GoPro Colors and not Natural color profile.
Well yes in the summertime! haha never gets dark. But in the winter it's totally opposite. Sunrise at 10am and sunset at 3:30pm in December. Then it's dark all the time!
I been watching review after review on this new product, and NO ONE is addressing the OVERHEATING issue. On top settings the POS overheats in about 3 mins and at 1080P in about 9 mins at best. Sorry to say this product is just junk ...they really got to address the overheating. Battery life on it sucks as well. For the price you are paying you would expect very high level of engineering. Pay a lil more the the GoPro 10, they at least have it dialed in reasonably well. DO NOT GET this product until they address the overheating...utter garbage.
Yeah that's interesting. I never experienced overheating but I was conserving battery because I was out on location and couldn't charge the batteries. Plus i live in Alaska and it was freezing so that probably helped too! lol
so gopro 10 dont overheat? yeah right , so when gopro 10 freezes and you have to take the battery off and lose all the footage is ok, not garbage ? nice, thats a bias opinion , this are action camera, go do action with them , them they not overheat, but gopro since the 5 have the same old problems that are not adressed in the version 10 , i prefer a camera that dont freeze and lose my footage , and again gopro 10 5k it drains the battery in 10 minutes, thats a lot , so dont be a dick or a gopro fan.
how can the go pro be better when the dj poclet 2 has a bigger sensor? its like a HD camera with a better sensor and lens than a crap 4k small sensor? the 4k or 5k doesn't matter, on a small sensor
Make a test how long it will record 120 fps and 60 real tests will be by real customers, you are only paid advertising And boys will you get on such a test or do you miss something
23 minutes continue recording outdoor, no heating , oh, and dont freeze like the gopro 10 and loose hte fottage when you have to take out the battery, real test?! , nobody film more than 5 minutes continually .
