I see the micro jitters in low light when you ride the bike at night. Low light definitely improved, but Ace Pro is still winning there.

insta360 has a trash behaviour so I wouldn't think twice. Trying to buy reviewers is a no go. I'm saying this while owning some of their stuff even.

Lots of good test conditions. I would like to see more about using it in a multicam setup. GoPro has a slick feature that allows syncing from their App using a QRcode any number of cameras. I like the Action 5, but don't want to invest and carry along timecode generator. Your thoughts?

I recently picked up the Osmo pocket three and I love it for Vlogging, but I’m looking for a little camera that it is as tough & nimble as a GoPro but shoots well in the lower light. I want to film inside malls and do walking tours in evenings. I’ve been thinking about the Ace Pro but also waiting for the Action 5 to release. Do you have any thoughts on whether you think the ace pro or the action five is the king of lowlight? Could this camera do low light walking videos, like at night? Or in a mall / inside? Is the action 5 using Ai to not be jittery in low light? Man now I want the action 5!!!!

I keep hoping that action cams are going to get better in cloudy conditions because that's usually what I'm in, but that doesn't seem to be changing much. Still looks like an upgrade from the GoPro's though! which isn't surprising considering how the original osmo was

I watched a deep DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro vs GoPro Hero 13 Black vs Insta360 Ace Pro. I really couldn't tell the difference in the video comparisons other than the bike going fast down a tree covered trail and the Go Pro had the smoothest looking video, the walking and running stabilization shots all had a tiny bit of bounce with none perfectly smooth. I think I will wait another generation before spending more money, as what I have is almost as good. I am sure that there is a difference in accessories, but am not going to spend time comparing.

You must live in a nice neighborhood. If you left your bike for a few minutes in Portland it would be stripped when you return.

How are stillphotos? Im curious getting something like this because good lowlight performance, and small size to basically be small camera that i carry with phone to take pics, and video(How it compares to phone and real camera?). If it would do good in stillphotos i could get one and use it somehtimes to record more action, because otherwise i would just get better smartphone to get better pics, or used dlsr. I could not find stillphoto material to really deside.

I still don’t understand why GoPro and DJI release their cameras towards the end of summer..? It’s already overcast in WA where I live, and the autumn rains will arrive by the beginning of October.

As i said at the end. All cameras are good. Don't worry about every little update with new ones. Find one that you like and can make your videos with then don't pay attention to all the noise till you're ready to upgrade

How the battery works in very cold temperatures? Action 4 was useless in winter. It would be nice to see how 5 Pro would handle the freezer? I have stayed with GoPro because of the battery. Recording camera is the best camera.

I guess the poorly resolved image detail with nature in the background is just as bad as Action 4. I would have hoped for at least 5k resolution and the same level of detail as the Pocket 3 gives you.

Just wait, next year they'll release the Osmo Action 5 Pro Plus Ultra Mega Edition with a slightly bigger battery and a new color, and all the reviewers will like "OMG This is the best action camera ever! DJI has really outdone themselves this time!" Don't get me wrong, this camera looks pretty good, but this whole cycle of releasing a new product every year with minor improvements gets a little tiring.

Big fan of DJI but that was some odd looking stabilisation, very unnatural like a computer game, I’ve been researching a new camera for ages and there is always something new coming and nothing that does it all! Sticking to my iPhone for now 🙄 insta360 4X spec with the portability of the Go is what I want, too much to ask 😂

Why do all reviewers shoot in normal color ? Y’all always stressing about color and color grading but don’t think about testing that out with this camera ? Anyone with little experience with cameras will immediate notice that the hdr effect is reaaally bad aesthetically. It looks like it looks like old android/ iPhone hdr footage . I wonder if DJI gives these reviewers a script and a shot by shot list of what to record . Yea it’s their opinion but DJI gets to dictate what they do in the video.
