Very well put together - as per all new equipment these days we need such detailed and informative videos to see many of the features the the equipment presents If you can do a video showing the results of the wide angle lens when attached many would appreciate that.

Another point I picked up is that a preplanned flight track can be made, just as one was able to do with some of the earlier Drones and today for the mini DJI require use of a third party software. Maybe, this would be interesting as well. Tx

3:30 also old Air 3 batteries do not have the "offline" data transfer possibility, only with the new batteries.

Matthew, thank you for this and your many other videos - they are always so informative. With the Air 3S main wide angle camera now at the 1” sensor, is it the same technology as the 1/1.3 “ of the Air 3. That is, is it that new layered sensor (for lack of the correct terminology)?

I just wanted to know is the downward vision assist only on the Air 3s currently or is it also on the Mavic 3 series, original Air 3 and mini 4 pro because since they already have the current vision assist function. Can you do the test on other drones that also have similar function already and also the the actual App function like tracking and some more others under the three dotes on the top right. I currently own both Mavic 3 original two cameras and the Air 3 and really interested in the downward vision assist function. I also have another idea maybe it’s possible. But only on the Mavic 3 series. Mavic 3 have those two top facing cameras on the back, I was wondering if DJI could also make a upward vision assist function. That will truly make all the Mavic 3 series drones super safe to fly because you will be able to see all side not just front, back, left and right. Now with bottom and top that would be very cool. Hop you will see this comment.

DaVinci Resolve Free (non Studio) version. DaVinci Resolve has about 90% of the features of the (paid) Studio version and is an Ace software tool to do any video and music editing, and exporting it to different social media formats on PC. Any midrange computer with a decent graphics card will do, as DaVinci allows you to "proxy" downscale the footage to a lower resolution while working and editing it, and upscale back to higher required format resolution once you finish and render the final product. I have a (dated) 1660 ti GTX Nvidia video card on a Win 10 Pro with an old 4 series "K" Pentium processor, and it's enough grunt to work/edit in 1080p Proxy resolution before rendering the final in a higher format. 1080p is anyway good enough for RU-vid publishing. Given that most watch RU-vid on their cellphones, you hardly will notice any difference rendering drone footage in 1080p resolution

On the air 3 night mode is automatic too. Since 2 updates back if u watch it'll go into night mode when it goes dark even while recording. All night mode is, is taking the frames per second and lowering them with software. On the air 3s they just say it's integrated in which is not only a lie it's taking it from the air 3 and taking the option off. So on the air 3 u can control it at least in professional mode bit not the air 3s when is in fact a downgrade. Also about that subject focus it's not an upgrade. Click the af button 3 times and you'll see a picture icon of mountains appear and it will not blur anything on the normal air 3. The only difference is the lidar which is fancy for infrared which was out on the spark back in 2017. Which they should of never got rid of. This is why they r the same price. I'm upgrading when the mavic 4 comes out if it's worth it bc dji hasn't changed anything big since 2021.
