Seeing a scenic flight with one of these makes it feel achievable, unlike some of the crazy videos out there that make people like me think I will crash it first shot.
Thank you. The avata is a easy drone to fly certainly with the motion controller it doesn't have sensors to stop a crash but with sensible flying it's a real joy to fly my friend enjoy your day 🙏

Beautiful views of the beach and interesting to see the constructions site. I was surprised how well my Mini 3 Pro handles the wind and how well the gimbal stabilization works as the little drone bounces around in the gusts. I enjoyed in full to the end. Thank you, my friend.

Smooth flight my friend.. what a wonderful location for an fpv flight. I don't see any strong wind disturbance on the vid. I also went out this weekend for little avata 2 flight .. will be posting soon as well .. 💪💪

That thing seems like it can move pretty fast. I have the air 2s. I’m not sure how fast it can go. I usually use it for slower cinematic shots. Really cool flying here. Especially when going under the arms of the construction vehicles. 👍24

@MiddleAgedDroneChick thank you and I will subscribe back while the mini 4 is impressive in its own right you can not beat the mavic 3 series for flying in windy conditions and I believe the air3s is as capable happy flying my friend 👍

Thanks Steve yeah it flys real smooth I will need to get it into an abandoned building next. See how it does there as personally. I think that's where the avatas excell the track is called elektronomia ascension. It was part of a large library of copyright free music Maria made available for a short while, and I copied the whole library enjoy your evening buddy 👍
Edited in the blue sky changed from horrible grey lol first bit of sun in a while just need the wind to die down. But we have rain for at least the next week 😪
Hello Jim, was just curious, you titled this video as " flying in strong winds " at 2:58 seconds you fly under and excavator arm looking at the tree's there looks it looks dead calm even over the water looks calm. What was the wind speed for this flight ? I'm thinking of buying the Avata would be a good fit next to my Mini 4 Pro. I read that the Avata is not good in the winds that the duct design causes turbulence, Have you had any issues of it stalling in turns even flipping ? Since you had it is there anything you really dislike about the Avata as well as like ? Any input would be helpful Thanks in advance.
Hi, yes, it was windy, probably about 15 mph. The avatas can fly in that but what you can notice is the drone leaning to one side when it should be level on straight forward flight that's it being affected by the wind and you can feel it turning when you don't want it too. The avata 2 is a bit better than the original avata in the wind but they are not the best in windy conditions you can still fly but level flight is almost impossible this is a great drone certainly improvements over my original and I have been flying the avatas from week one buddy. They are awesome drones, and flying with the goggles is amazing. Flying full manual is the best but needs new skills to be learned, but once mastered, it really lets the avatas loose. The avatas are not for everyone but I think it's a great cruising drone and for doing flights inside abandoned buildings its great with the motion controller they are very easy to fly but my advice is learn manual mode flying. Oh and no stalling or flips from the wind buddy. It would have been less windy there because it was sheltered but you will have noticed the wind noise at the very end of the video on my action 3. As the wind was almost coming direct from the sea but I have cancelled more avata flying because of windy conditions than any other drone but I fly the mini 4 pro and mavic 3 and the mavic 3 is king especially in those windy days where even it's too much for my mini 4
