If you’ve ever been afraid to fly in FPV, don’t worry, you’re not alone on that front. Yet the DJI Avata looks and feel like your best bet if you intend on making mistakes. Now don’t expect too much out of it, its still only manages to fly up to 6m/s or 21km/h, but with a super wide-angle of 155° FOV shooting up to 4K60fps

Uhh The Avata has 3 Flight modes the Normal (as You said around 30 km/h), Sports mode (around 48-50 km/h) and acro/Manual mode (only available with the RC Controller, it will go max speed of 106 km/h). The DJI FPV goes with the motion controller or RC in Normal to around 50 km/h and in sports mode to 95-100. With Acro it goes up to 156-160 km/h. I have both the DJI Avata and FPV. However all in all I'd prefer the Avata because of portability, handling and being able to bump into stuff without breaking an arm.

Yeah was expecting to be missing out on something since I didn't get the chance to fly it without the DJI RC. But good to know someone who owns both. For indoors and travelling I would agree the Avata would be more suitable. Thanks for watching!

Those goggles are not comfortable for me Seems like they were designed to fit the Asian face style. And it is easy to fly if you can keep it in the air

Think I was commenting on conventional FPV drones. But yeah, I have no experience with those, but am sure its far more difficult to fly but also has way more rewards. This Avata has too many limitations unless its paired with the DJI FPV RC or if it came with more power. Speed was just not enough in high winds

@@TECH360TV yeah but then it has the limitation of falling out of the sky mine tumbled out of the sky and DJI fixed it for free it was a core board malfunction. So mine crashed like all the others crashed then I would say they all had core boad malfunctions but the question is what cause the malfunction?

@@myfalconry76 Interesting. Thanks for sharing. I'll be sure to ask DJI about this and will let you know if I get any answers. Any other faults? My time with it was very limited and couldn't comment for long-term use.

I have both Goggles and a big European nose lol, I would never ever give my Goggles 2 away they are way better. Much more of a clear picture, I'm feeling to be way closer in the drone then the V2 Goggles. And yes after 4-5 flights in it may start to "hurt" and you'll surely see the marks of it. Other then that waayy better as I said.
