The DJI drone ban has not passed the Senate yet. Only the house to my knowledge. And while it may mean a short time for many of us, I think the supreme court could rule in favor of DJI due to the fair trade acts. And the senate having no leg to stand on for their ban.
5 years minimum before dji will not get FCC approval if ever due to courts hearings they are the leading manufacturer they can try to ban all they want but nothing to replace them so. also if they are banned it will only be newly manufactured drones not existing ones which already have FCC approval. it is pretty hard to be revoked once approved if not impossible so if you have a dji drone now no worries although I would hesitate on doing anymore firmware updates. if your drone is working no way they can stop it other than an update.
new sub to the chanel flight footage amazing, never did buy dji but i might get this drone, question, explain the roll and banking turns? it looks like your flying a fixed wing
From what I heard from all the legal talk anyone who still owns a DJI can still fly existing DJI drone's, it is a ban on imports so getting new drones will be impossible as for parts not sure if import ban effects spare parts. The Geeksvana YT channel has covered it extensively.
I agree. It was made to sound as if because they were banned, current drones in the US wouldn't fly! I think it would be impossible to stop current drones from flying. Could they somehow cancel that broadband stopping them from flying? Probably, but would they? No way
That's one possibility, but the language of the ban also makes it possible for FCC to revoke Part 15 certification for existing products if they so choose. Of course FPV pilots have been flying non Part 15 gear for a couple decades now, but it will certainly make it harder to get these products and get them repaired if they break and so forth.
Wait a second, am I hearing this correctly? If it's banned, will all the current DJI drones still fly, or somehow the broadband they fly on has been canceled prohibiting them from doing so?
@@scottmcauley5781 Firstly, DJI drones don't fly on broadband. Secondly, your existing drone will definitely work after any bans. You just won't be able to purchase new DJI drones, and government agencies like police and fire dept won't be allowed to use them for work
this drone could attract nasty trouble, i live in rural area with homesteads, i start buzzing the hood with this thing the karens will be fighting mad, is it broadcasting r.i.d. when you get it?
Today I decided I will never buy DJI products again. My Avata 2 hit the ground just a little bit and one of the rubber dampers of the camera gimbal snapped, that's it! 500 euros gone in a second since except for the propellers, absolutely nothing of this drone can be fixed or replaced! In fact I lost 1500 euros because the goggles, the extra batteries, the controller 3, these are now useless.
You dont have to clickbait to get views man. Your watch-time is gonna be in the toilet on this video as nobody is gonna get past the minute mark. Could have just posted a flight video and had better luck with less backlash
