DJI MAVIC 2 PRO REVIEW - WE HAVE NO WORDS!!!! 

Sorry got confused with the numbers about Hasselblad, first consumer camera was built in 1948 though. I have seen there are many people hating because the 30-40 years that didn't even know Hasselblad a few months ago :'). Sorry for the confusion!

A little bit less talking and a little bit more samples would be nice ;)

Just a quick FYI, the original Mavic can be set for allowing the camera to pan up above level. So if you haven't upgraded to the Mavic 2 yet check your settings and change it to allow you to pan up.

Well I "have no words" on how good you shot this presentation. Aside from the great informational and drone shot side, I can't say enough about your videographer shooting the shots of you for the interview. I saw he had some kind of stabilizer pole. These shots are smooth as glass and so much more interesting to me, because there's a lot of camera moving type shots. Of course, to me, that's one of the great things about drones, is not only to get the "air hight shots", but the fact the camera itself is moving in the shot. Great job, and I love the castle. I thought this was a review not some hipster yapping on about hasselblad marketing BS. If you really want to test that large sensor use it at night for still photos. Show us what the images from this one and previous look like at same ISO settings!

Im not going to comment on this review,but all I can say is this drone is mental.I recently purchased one and this drone is just crazy,but in a good way.You can start off in beginner mode which restricts you to 30 meters in each direction with a slower speed so you can get used to controlling it.But put it into position or sport mode and all hell breaks loose.The stability of this drone is awesome in fairly windy conditions.The camera quality is second to none.You pay for what you get and I assure you this is an amazing portable drone.Just be sure to purchase extra battery's and get the smart controller for longer flying times.

Great Video...would love to see a more in depth video with all the flight options...but all in all a great vid!..nice glasses too!

Hasselblad started in 1841 and they've specialised in medium format that have been the premium camera for professionals for decades. A truly TOP name though I'd have preferred a Leica badge.

That HQ option is awesome! It's like a lossless zoom kinda! Like APSC Mode on a Full Frame camera.

FYI - Hasselblad is a high end Swedish camera company and recently DJI has acquired a majority stake in Hasselblad for the purpose of bringing Hasselblad's high end technology to DJI branded drones. Recently meaning Jan of 2017.

Just so your view is know. The camera on that drone is Hasselblad in name only. Hasselblad has been using Sony cameras and sensors for years. So in effect it's just another Sony camera that DJI has been using all along which is not a bad thing at all. Great drone

I love your videos and your style of presentation, however I would like to know if the new Mavic Pro 2 has solved the main issues of the Mavic Pro 1, namely the horizon which was hardly ever level, the occasional glitches in the footage (like a shake) which occurred, and the somewhat dodgy focus system of the device???? Without fixes for these issues it is still not the finished article IMO.

Yes, yes, yes! 10bit and 1" sensor are bigger for me than 60fps so I'm very happy with this! Also variable aperture means no need for ND's that are such a pain in the ass! And on top of that the omnidirectional obstacle avoidance and other small goodies, I'm definitely getting this drone!

Very nice music, makes the video a lot of fun to watch. Question, how long did it take to you guys to create this video? I mean everything, planning where to go, studying and planning what to say, shoot, post production... did I forget something?

Please shoot some dusk and a sundown. Also some city lights at night time! I want one of these if their video, photos at night are awesome! If it has a 1, 2, and 3 second exposure setting, it would be icing on the cake!

Hi.I'm Jae Hyuk Choi.I compare with mevic2pro and mavic pro zoom is that the camera is little bit wider made frome Sweden.so side by side mevic2 pro has lote of sensors it doesn't heated by tree and any walls.When you try heated by tree is that it really harder it can fly again.it's so amazing.DJI is very amazing.

BTW the Pro also could look up. You only had to enable it 😉

Nice review..thanks guys. Have the Mavic Air and SPARK. So, have to think on upgrading to Mavic 2 Pro | Mavic 2 Zoom. Great review...I I like the new Intelligent Flight Mode (Hyperlapse), though you didn't cover in this review. Though, not sure if I want that feature built into the drone or if it's just as easy to do it in post production editing. Will have to see more of this feature.

Yo, do the props ever get in the shot, when flying full speed or into the wind while filming?? Did they solve that problem?

The manual states: "Lateral Vision Systems are only available in ActiveTrack 2.0 and Tripod Mode. " So no obstacle detection during free flight or other flight modes. Let's encourage DJI to add Side Detection to additional flight modes.

I like the specification of the Mavic 2 Pro with the Hasselblad camera. Realistically as the sensor is 20 Mps when in video mode, why cant digital zoom be employed? For example 2x would still achieve a 10 Megapixel resolution and still far more than is needed for video. Maybe even a 6x digital zoom could be incorporated to great effect.

Great review and nice music choice! One thing I'm interested in is the noise of the drone. As a suggestion for future videos, perhaps you could just have a 10-20 second part w/o any music and launch and land the drone. People constantly look up when I fly my Mavic Pro and I'd love to get a quieter drone.

Why are all of the videos of the mavic pro 2 I see with soft looking footage? Look at the trees especially. The mavic 2 zoom has much clearer looking video. What is going on? Another focusing problem?

Image seems very soft, much softer than P4P and MP, likely DJI had lots of issues putting that large senson behind a small lens

Someday I'll buy the Mevic2 so,it's better then the mevic pro when I had it.Mevic2 has lot of sensors up side down.I guess mevic2 can't not heated the tree.I saw Mevic2 prop is little bit of curve it doesn't make noise.it's good.^^

Hello from 🇺🇸Harrisburg Pennsylvania 🇺🇸 I have both Phantom 4Pro with 5 batteries 🔋 & Mavic Pro with 3 batteries , 🔋 The Mavic Pro I pretty much take everywhere when I’m Jetskiing or riding around on both of my motorcycles 🏍🇺🇸🛵 cause the Mavic pro is small enough to fit inside both of my compartments on my Big Boy Toys ,If I’m not taking my Woman 👩 with me I always take my Phantom 4Pro plus and can put it on my back seat 😎 My question is should I upgrade and get the Mavic Pro 2 with fly more kit $1900.00 or keep what I have ?

I'll wait for the Mavic Pro 2 Platinum! Maybe newer propellers and motor again.

Very nice Camera will I upgrade ? Will need to think about that 1, DJI standards are set higher than ever, and the cat is now out of the bag lol Not a lot of new tech rather it’s got more of it plus some cool flight modes. I've watched a few reviews and no one's mentioned much about the f2.8 to f11 which is a big thing as we may not need to use ND filters (as often) I've seen that ND filters are still available for the Mavic 2 Pro. Is it because even at F11 this may still not be enough to correctly expose a very bright sunny day?

Dude! Hasselblad hasn't been around for 30 years, it's been around for 178 years. Back in the days of film cameras it was pretty much the undisputed king of medium format cameras. Almost every professional photographer who could afford one had at least one Hasselblad and a bag full of backs and lenses. Hasselblad made the film cameras for America's NASA, in spite of being a Swedish company. Unfortunately the age of digital cameras shook things up a lot for Hasselblad and today they are a mere shell of their former self.

On the Pro 2, it seems that the 10 bit mode not available in the Full FOV 4k mode, only the 4k HQ mode, which is a 1.5x crop into the sensor. So we really aren't getting 4k 10bit from a full 1" sensor, and it isn't possible to capture wide (28mm) 4k footage in 10 bit. Please correct me if I am wrong, I'm trying to discover all the caveats that have been glossed over.
