Love your videos! Always interested in the technology side of things! Don't plan to upgrade at this time as I'm super happy with my Mavic Pro and just purchased a Spark, so cash-flow is rather low anyway! LOL

Actually looking for a used Mavic pro now. Seems the platinum is the one to get although they are hard to find. Also not too sure why you decided to put the old noisier props on the new one instead of the other way around? Anyway good effort!

Hi, thank you for your video. The most important thing is if dji improved the vid quality in 1080p 50/60fps. Did you test it already?

test 1080p 60 fps please, whether they have fixed the pixel binning issue of the Mavic Pro

I understand there is an improvement in 1080 video at 60 fps as well. That too is apparently a hardware change. I tend to stay with 4k video but there have been numerous complaints about the dreadful 1080 video at higher frame rates with the older mavic.

Why don’t you test the battery life and noise level of old Mavic with new propellers. You missed the most wanted questions of Mavic owner

Nice vid, two comments. 1- you should have tested the new props on the old Mavic as they are about 3-4db quieter, also it would be nice to see if the run time changed. 2- you didn't mention the camera, it is said that the hardware was improved to now provide good 1080/60 without the "binning" artifacts!

Despite the numbers in the noise meter, what is your appreciation about the noise reduction? It is appreciable? Flying at 100 feet, can you tell if there is a Drone above you?

Thanks for the information. Do you know if the motors are the same? Is it just the speed controllers that are different? Seems faster props would be better in the wind but I am not sure about it. Some say the mavic pro motors heat up more with the new props.

The main difference is the propellers.If you instal them on the old mavic pro you will also notice longer flight time and less noise.And also please check the firmware version and tell us if you can go back to an earlier version.

How did you get your platinum??? Ordered mine and was supposed to get it on fist shipment of September,, then dji sends me an email saying confirming shipping for mid to late October,,😠😠😠😠😠

My question is, do the Filters of the Mavic Pro fit on the Platinum or do is the lens size different? Because in your video you only have a Filter on the Pro. Thanks in advance. ^_^

I love the way you make videos. It’s always very entertaining and have a way of making your viewers attached to make sure they watched every second. And also your videos look so crisp and clear what camera are you using to film this. Also if you don’t mind me asking I feel like on my Mavic pro when I film it’s not as clear as your settings on your Mavic. What do you have them at?

For me the motor sound frequency profile is better - more bee than wasp. Sinusoidal driver pluses over square-wave.

What will the new FOC/ESC's mean for top speed? Will the motors (potentially) spin at higher revs?

Nice report, but where's the comparison of the MP with the new props, to see if noise or battery duration is helped by the props only? Oh yeah, you need a better mic setup, your audio has too much echo. Try a "Blue Yeti" mic, they work well for RU-vidrs. $125

for the price difference in fly more package deals between Pro and Pro Platinum you can buy a 4th battery and get even more fly time for your money. then put the newer props on your Pro and you'll be good to go. Well yeah maybe not as quiet but I would think the ESCs wave length and timing could be a simple firmware update. ???? Is there more to the Platinum or is DJI just stinging us for another price increase for such a small improvement.??? I want to buy a Mavic but what one ?? Do I wait for the Mavic 2 to come out??? Ug

I just bought a brand new Mavic Pro (06/2018) and have the same thing on my footage. Can you please elaborate if this is normal and if you have experienced a similar thing on your Mavic Pro or Mavic Pro Platinum. For example i have 2-4 microshakes in 8-10 minute footage. Is this normal based on your experience ???
