Out of the many reviews on The Mavic Mini, this is by far the best . The reason being is that he is very clear and informative, no overload of information and he reviews the drone in the same way that most of us would use it, showing clearly the options it has and how to use them. I learned more with this review then any other, simple and to the point, no bells and whistles . Thanks a lot.

If you are planning on buying this drone or you just picked one up, I would recommend using 1080p 60fps for almost all of your videos. The 60fps drastically improves the fluidity of the shot when rotating.

That wasn't a return to home, it just landed. Return to home only works, when you are more then 20m away from your homepoint (horizontal).

@@DustinDunnill the Mavic Mini is no toy even at night the camera isn't to bad. Also in RTH mode you can spin the MM in any direction while it's coming home. This is gonna be my travel drone. LOL But I'll bring the MP2

You can click one in the shadows and the other one in the highlights. Then you could merge them to get an HDR look.

I can't believe how amazingly simple and effective this video is. You talk loud and clear and slow which is very important. Unlike a lot of people reviewing stuff on YT. You share and show important info and features, pretty much everything that matters. I like how you show the controls, what the camera is filming, the pictures, everything. I must say that the quality looks very good considering. I've never flown a drone before and want to buy this one to try it out. Has anything changed about since you've made a video? Thank you for this, a big like from me. Keep up the good work. P.S. Nice scenery and some great shots. Wish the weather was better.

I got mine and it is amazing. Just crashed it for the first time and want to say it is also super durable and the props are easy and cheap to replace so I don't have to be worried about babying the drone all the time.

I have watched 15 or so reviews on this drone. Trying to decide if I want to purchase this for my first one. Most where going way to in-depth to on changing shutter speeds an other numbers to make pictures better and what not. I really don’t understand any of that thinking it was too much. Dustin keep up the excellent work .. your tutorials are probably the best out there... most guys talk about it for a minute then just fly it.. I can watch people fly anywhere... I want a true and total tutorial and that's what you provide... So don't feel bad about how long it takes because you do a true and advanced tutorial of the drone and controller which helps you not crash, lose, or destroy your drone.. if people don't mind throwing away hundreds of not thousands of dollars go ahead and watch another channel because your channel is the best I've found for drone tutorials... thank you for being so detailed in your video tutorials. 😊

Nice review... Better check on the "Insufficient power" message appearing especially in S-mode. I've seen some review with this message as an issue.

Yes, i ve seen as well. This is caused by full push of the stick in s mode. If the stick is slightly pushed, there is no warnings. I hope, they will fix this issue with further firmware updates.

About to just take this instead of taking my Inspire 1 Black Edition out with the X5. Just for the simplistic setup, light weight, doesn't draw attention *minimal and the quality is something to desire though that would be the concern. That or a Mavic Pro 2 Zoom. Kinda deciding what to do. This video was amazing though, it's very impressive.

This is such an awesome drone. My brother got a Phantom 3 Standard when they first came out, and we have loved it. The only gripe is the range (we have taken it over 1 mile over the ocean, but in suburban areas, it loses signal quite often). This beast exceeds [almost] all specs of the Phantom 3 Standard and does it in a tiny package, all for just $500 for the FlyMore bundle! Seriously, if you just want to fly around and take cool pictures, this is all you need. It is an impressive piece of technology.

just got this drone, am happy with your review but going to put it out there that maybe people shouldnt compare this to more expensive drones because it really depends on what you actually want it for in the end. If you just want to mess around and maybe learn about these features then its perfect but if your going to make good content then consider other bigger drones.

I don't think I need a drone, but hot damn you simple video is so refreshing as a review and makes me want to buy one. I don't know about you till today. but never change and keep it simple.

I found this drone could be very useful when hike alone deep in mountain. It's light, small, long range. If u got lost, release the drone will help u find exit quickly.

Great review of the mini. I may have to add one of these to my fleet. So far I have been impressed with the DJI products. The only limitations have been my flying skills. LOL. Thanks again for this video!

No skill needed, my friend. They literally fly by themselves. It's all in the fingers to get smooth motion. A bit of practice and muscle memory does it. They're $399 now on Amazon with the Fly More Combo, so you get three batteries and the propeller guards. Their price has never been that low. It's an amazing deal!

Many Mahalos brah! That was an excellent video. My Mavic Mini comes in the mail tomorrow and I can't wait. Taking it to Utah next week to shoot some amazing slot canyon footage. Seeing the West Maui mountains makes me homesick. Have lived in Maui twice (Lahaina and Mahinahina), so mahalo for that too! Great walkthrough of the entire system. Stoked!

I bought the mavic mini last wk and I love it, especially wow small and light it is and I was blown away at how good it flies in the wind. I work on the soth tip of n.j. on the ocean and it's always windy. I flew my 1st 2 drones at work, the 1st 1 is now at the bottom of the ocean and 2nd one I crashed into the building. Mavic mini is what I've should of got the 1st time. Ty for your video, it helped me learn more about the drone then I knew. Also your avic mini distance test video was great. 18,000 ft distance amazing. Didnt think were making it back home!
