Thank you for all your DJI Mavic Pro videos. I have the Mavic Pro and I have not engaged the Sport mode yet. But I will try it today.

Thanks, subbed. Mavic is my first drone as it finally had the features and size combo I was waiting for. Confidence in the machine comes fast after a few flights.

Great video. Was flying at the beach and it was a windy day. Wound up flying out about a half mile with the wind. Was struggling to get back and it had me worried for a second. Pop that baby in sport mode and it got me back safe [against the wind] in record time.

Please as a beginner pilot,what does the sport mode really do, and which flight mode should I set my drone? I want to really understand the major difference in them all🙏

Would be better to fly in close quarters like in the woods when sensors are off and not dodging everything?

Have the same drone, just got a new camera installed, proof its can get out of control fast in sport mode. Hit a tree bringing it back. Ouch$394 repair bill.

why don't you do a tutorial on different 'settings' options in sport mode? It not so much about speed as it is being able to control the added quickness.

There are other differences other then obstacle avoidance. The stopping time is way increased due to the faster movement. Turn radius and drift are increased as well.

Excelent Dylan ... With my Inspire1 went 76.49 miles higher speed ... (123.1 km/h) .. now i change to a Mavic Pro for portability y price, I hope be a goo d Drone, Inspire is soo big . . . wil retired it ..

Great Video. In sports mode do you need to add throttle to keep altitude or does it stay constant with no up command. As in a remote control helicopter, when you fly forward you also need to increase the throttle. Hope that makes sense !

Dylan got so excited about the speed, he forgot to show you how to get into sport mode. Yes he showed you how to move the switch to the sport mode on the controller but forgot that the software must also be put into intelligent flight mode. The software does not default to that mode.

After a little time it will start to feel slow, but this thing isn't made to be a race drone. Nice if you're trying to get out to where you're filming quick.

hey Dylan, I have a mavic pro and I thought i was in sport mode and yesterday I was going through the setup and I came to Multiple flight modes which was off. I turned it on and now in sport mode this thing is super fast. Just wondering if you could tell me if this is normal?

Hi that was a great video!. I am hugely confused between Mavic and Spark. Budget is not a problem. I am not a Vlogger, Pro or RU-vidr. The drone will be only for fun, family , travel videos. I am a total noob, never used drone before nor do i used Softwares to edit videos. In both the cases I will be buying fly more combo. I am more interested in taking pics than photos. What I love about most for spark is its starts up v quickly. More like pop n play. Don't know about mavic. In my country i am getting mavic combo for discount and spark combo at premium. In a way i am more inclined towards Mavic due to overall appeal, but i am scared if Mavic is complicated to use and requires too much effort i may not even use it ever. And on the other hand spark is very pop n play. I really dont care about 4k if the 1080p video quality and still images quality is same of both then my draw gets closer to spark. But when i am seeing videos and sample footages of both of them, they dont appear to be same. Hence confusion doubles up. PLEASE HELP

Hey Dylan, does the Mavic ever get a little harder to menuver when it Sports mode, maybe since it has less GPS satellites to help control it? I ask as my Hubsan is harder to control in Non GPS mode and ends up drifting more, esp. with wind/breezes.

Hmmm..... I tried moving the button into sport mode on the controller and it's still the same as normal. Am I missing something?

I have a mavic and a traxxas aton the aton is much faster i fly it just for the sport of it. The mavic is the better drone but the aton is a much better sport quadcopter
