Collin. What’s a good mic I can get. I’m just starting out. And I’m still watching all your videos. I’m on disability and wanted to do something to make some xtra money. Haven’t started a channel yet. Still watching to learn all I can. Thank u so much for all your videos
The mic2 is supposed to work with the osmo4 built in receiver. I don't know if mic1 also works. Its ground breaking but almost no one talks about it. Having wireless audio without all the patch cord garbage on your cam. To me that's big. I was hoping gopro would have done this by now but all they have is the stupid overpriced media mod or a cage and a mic adapter with wires hanging around compromising the cameras waterproof ability.
I can do the noise cancelling in the program (Final Cut Pro) I’m not switching from the original one to the so called upgrade version! It’s the same. No need to upgrade. Waste of money 😂
How well does the noise canceling work if you are in a retail store with music in the background that might cause a copyright infringement on your RU-vid video?
Bro, at 3:04 when you swapped to the Osmo internal audio, i literally paused the video to take my airpods out because I thought the audio had swapped to my computer speakers 😂
We do sawmill action content. Very noisy. Also my voice can peak more than anyone else. Noise cancel and 32 bit. So I ordered the dji mic 1 on accident through the osmo action 4 vlog bundle( should have been paying attention my bad). Now debating on returning mic1 for mic2. Knowing that I have alot of background noise with a sawmill. And alot of ppl think the mic1 sounds better. Should I swap for mic2 or keep mic1?
Yeah, the DJI Mic sounds better than the 2. Mic 2 sounds too muffled and not full. Even tho the 1 pics up some noise in the background, it's still better sounding quality and I don't mind background noise as long as it's not overly distracting. The 2 sounds too robotic, almost like if you were talking through a webcam. That's what it reminds me of.
Can you use the 2 while live streaming when I do a livestream on streamyard I can use the mics but when I bring someone up on my panel I can’t hear them and I’ve tried everything to get it to work but the mics only let people hear me and it cancels out incoming audio on the livestream
You should be able to hear people with either model. They connect with usb c and not headphone jack. This should let the computer know it’s a mic and not a “headphone” where you can’t hear people.
@@CollinMichael I use my phone when I’m out fishing and when you plug in the receiver it cancels out all incoming audio people can hear me but I can’t hear them. When you plug in the receiver you can’t hear anyone that’s the only downfall with these mics I’ve seen
@@CollinMichael and when I’m recording with my phone to make videos if I want to hear the clip I got to unplug the receiver to hear the audio on my phone. It records the audio fine but when it’s plugged in you can’t hear anything unless you unplug them
Yeah I'm glad I just purchased the 1st gen. For me, not enough improvements to justify the extra $$. Also, can't stand the new look with the shiny plastic. No idea why they chose to do that. Mics should be unseen, so matte and black just makes the most sense
Ok cool..I thought I was crazy that the Mic 1 sounds way better. Lol. Mic 1 has a bunch more rich and natural sound. Much more dynamic range. Mic 2 sounds more isolated but much more digitally processed.
Thank u. And once I get started. What is a descent mic to probably start with. Cause I see a lot of people wearing them on. A shirt or coat if their out side. I just figured that a mic would help if I had phone set up on a tripod While I was showing putting in a light switch or something like that or out in garden. Doing something. And later what kind of camera would u recommend. Thank u for all your support
I think I'll get the DJI Mic 1 after seeing a couple of videos like yours where I definitely think it sounds better than the Mic 2 even on my macbook speakers, the noise cancellation feature doesn't sound amazing, I would rather do it in post on segments if necessary
Thanks so much for everything after watching all your videos and understanding the power of editing have been able to take my channel from 0 to 10 views to about 100 views which is a huge step but an still growing @TNTechTitanGamer
