After watching several comparison tests, I'm under the impression that DJI products consistently deliver top-notch performance. This is my first time hearing about Godox, so I really appreciate your share.
Ciao! Good video! I have the godox mic and i like it a lot! Can i ask you if you noticed some noise in this mics? usually i set my camera to 1 or 2 and mic at 0... but i cant have total silent clip. i have some dirty noise. this is happened to you too? looks like i MUST clean the sound. Cheers
Hi, buddy! Do you recomend the Godox MoveLink M2 or Tascam DR-10L? I dedicate myself to recording weddings but I also make short films, advertising, etc.
I am not familiar with the Tascam. I can definitely recommend the Godox, but for weddings, I’m sure you will want to make use of the lav mic’s - fortunately, these are included!
Nice review. May i ask, why is my godox a bit noisy(?) I'm tested on camcorder and smartphone, but both are the same. Is it because of the cable or something else?
@@gwebster65 ok, i got the problem. The camcorder and my phone. When i try to my phone Sony XZ1, it's little bit noise, and camcorder too. But, i try on Samsung S9, the sound quality is good, no noise, very clear. I don't know why..
Excellent review. I have the Godox MoveLink 2 and really like it, BUT.... I recently discovered the Deity Pocket system. For my voice, it seems much clearer sounding. Neither have onboard recording. For that I have a Tascam, but then you have to sync in post. Not hard, but an extra step.
so the prices are closer as of now, the godox seems to be at around 200 EUR while the DJI stayed at 300 EUR. Yes, the godox also includes lavmics, but if it is not necessary for visuals I think the sound is absolutely fine on both of them with the onboard sound. The onboard recording and backup recording (with the lower gain) is a huge bonus though, especially since my camera seems to generate quite some noise on the mic input. having the onboard recording makes sure that you will have no gain noise which is also to be thought of. this might be irrelevant for USB-C/Lightning connection, but then again you would need to buy the adapters for the godox at this point, bringing the price advantage even lower. I guess as of right now the DJI is the better buy, not to mention that you basically get an integrated powerbank for your mics while you need to bring one for the godox.
I agree - just considering sound quality and range, there's not much to choose between them, but the DJI is just a more user friendly and well thought-out package.
Sorry, have not done an endurance test yet. Both systems are rated at around 5-6 hours of use, but the DJI case also allows you to charge all components 2-3 times from its built-in battery.
Cannot say. I have been using the DJI only and it continues to perform well. I will be doing a new test shortly between the DJI and the Saramonic - stay tuned.
I only did a subjective comparison, based on how each sounded and frankly, I did not find any major difference. I would say that both are perfectly good for RU-vid videos and similar.
im not even joking i was going the DJI but it took so long to get stock ...so i got the godox and i use it more than my Rode W G ......i love the godox
OUTSTANDING review!!! WOW! Very impressed how well the Good worked compare to the DJI system at twice the price! Thanks for a very comprehensive video review!
