I knew you could program the Fn button to switch but never knew you could also hold down! I just discovered you could adjust zoom while recording by holding down the zoom button on the screen. So you can get more precise distance. I’m excited to try this thank you!
Great sunset lighting and shots. I really like the quick shots. Yes, while I do wish the drone had the 'follow me' capability, I like how you modeled the ability to move independently of the drone's focal point. I wasn't sure of the minimum distance you can do them from, so today I had the Mini 2 SE hovering about 5 feet off the ground and about 4 feet from me. I did the circle quick shot around myself, and it held the line great. Seems like a great shot to do a 360 degree video around a person or an object. I still am amazed at how steady and accurate the drone holds when completing that shot. I think tomorrow I'll try to see how tight a circle I can get the drone to do the circle quick shot in. I guess if I can get it to fly in a tight diameter circle it will be like a 360 degree pano quick shot. Thanks for the videos - they are an inspiration and motivation to keep trying new things and to visit different areas for a variety of scenery. You capture your surrounding area and land features very well.

@@The-Drone-Guy So...an update on what I previous mentioned re: the minimum diameter of the circle quick shot. I tried it today and when I moved the drone to about 1.5 feet away from the target (a spotlight on a pole stand I placed in the street as a target - didn't want another video of me :D), when I started the quick shot, the drone moved back about a foot or so and then did a circle around a point that was actually a bit behind the spotlight. From what I could tell, the minimum diameter of a quick shot is about 3 feet. I tried a couple more times and each time it would immediately back up a foot or so and then do the circle. Also, I selected myself for another quick shot and just as it started, I started moving to my side to see if it would follow me. For about 6-7 seconds the drone actually left it's pre-set circular path and started following me. It definitely deviated from it's path to track me, but after about 7 seconds I guess it got frustrated and it changed directions and went to the right a little bit as if to return to it's circular path preset. It is a testament to how 'smart' and easy this drone is to operate that it makes it easy to set up and carry out tests such as these. I just can't say enough about my Mini 2 SE. Oh...and, you might want to consider carrying a pair of 'old' shoes in case you want a beach shot...I think they'll just fit in the Mini 2 SE backpack... :) Again, great video and great information!

Hey there! It can be hidden, you have to make sure you’re in video mode first. Then hit the video button again to bring up all of the different options. Let me know if you still have trouble! 👏🙏🚁
Hey! Make sure you’re using a memory card or you won’t be able to engage with this function. Also, it does require a secondary tap into the video option within the DJI fly app to see quick shots options. So once you’re in video mode, tap the video icon again and that should open the quick shots features. If you still don’t see them after that I would make sure to have latest software updates and contact DJI support. Hope this helps!
@The-Drone-Guy I actually have a question for you. I saw video s about adjusting gain expo settings , yaw, pitch roll for smoother flying. Made the mistake not to write down, screenshot the original settings. Cant find in the manual i printed, and in comments elsewhere they say, do a factory reset. Do you know the original settings for cine and normal mode ?
Great question, you can shoot in both resolutions/Frame rate for quick shots. I happened to still be new to drone and didn’t realize 1080 was default. Was also new to RU-vid so between those two things I didn’t even notice until later 😂
@@The-Drone-Guy don't feel bad you doing way better than me cause I'm way newer to drones than you .I just got mine a few days ago and did one flight so far..I'm scared to lose this thing..I'm about to head over to the park and practice some quick shots..but this time I'm going to set it to 2.7k...cause my first flight I noticed after was in 1080p..and I guess you're right seems like 1080p is the default for videos😆

Really? My guess is that you are flying it in sport mode or in windy conditions. I would consider ordering a new battery as it should definitely last longer than 16 minutes. But do consider the flight conditions will drain the battery in different ways. Hope this helps!

Amazing videos. I am getting it very soon and I am going to test it at 1400M above sea level. I hope it has a great range as Mini 2. Many people fly around 10KM in good conditions.
I did a test today ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Zi1Yd6aEQkk.html I managed to get it above 4KM but I feel I can do more if I improve my flying skills and focus on going forward right from the start on 100% battery. Soon, I will test it from higher altitude as well. This is around 700m above sea level, I am going soon above 1400m.

Hey I have a quick question if my mini 2 se loses connection cause either I flew it to far or whatever the case is does it return to home automatically or do I have to go closer to it to get the connection back it just scares me a bit cause this past weekend I was flying it and it lost connection a little bit and got all laggy and it was difficult to bring it back to me just anything thoughts u know
Hey! This is a great question - once the rc has lost connection to the drone it will begin the return home function. Now this may take 30-60 seconds to initiate so don’t freak out if the screen goes black. You can also tap and hold the return home button on left side of controller to initiate yourself. However keep in mind that the altitude for this return flight is set in your app and can be changed. However with drones that don’t have obstacle avoidance you need to make sure that the drone won’t return too low. But for the most part it is very hard to lose the drone completely because a connection problem. It will come back to your home point and re-establish connection. Then you can either land or cancel the maneuver to take back control of drone and keep flying. Hope this helps👏

Hey! Make sure to be in the video mode first then tap into the video option again so that it opens up the tabs of different "Quick Shots" - because there is only so much room on the screen they are kind of hidden
Yes the mini 2 SE can take 12 mp images - which is still plenty good for printing. Check out some of my other videos where I showcase the edited images taken during flight ✈️
The only 3D style photos that I’m aware of are in the panorama settings. In one of my other videos I show how this works. With regards to mapping, I’m sure it could be done but would require a third party software to stitch the images together. Hope this helps!
Another way to select the subject is by using your finger to place and drag a square to highlight and hopefully identify you or your subject. Use a well lit setting where you can easily see the target
