Allow Me To Introduce Myself! My name is Drew Fortin and I am a professional real estate photographer and licensed realtor serving southern Maine and New Hampshire. I have been commercially licensed to fly drones via my FAA Part 107 certification since 2017 and have thousands of flights under my belt. My photography has been published by multiple magazines/publishings as well as popular social media channels such as Travel+Leisure, Town and Country, Anthropology, Coastal Living, Yankee Magazine, and BenroUSA to name a few.
I hope to share the knowledge I have earned over the years of working with these awesome flying cameras. My main discussion points in this channel will be how to maximize the features of your drone, how to take better photos and video, how to fly safely, and how to monetize your hard work. The phone is only for the camera view and and small interface, the control will always be main governor of flight controls, now power doen the controll and see whay happens
Another way to select the subject is by using your finger to place and drag a square to highlight and hopefully identify you or your subject. Use a well lit setting where you can easily see the target
I see this drone like a mirrorless camera or iPhone; the convenience makes it a no brainer to have with you, and the most important rule of photography is you cannot take a picture if you don’t bring the camera with you. I shoot more video with this drone than any of my fancier drones. Obviously if you are professional than heavier bleeding edge is the burden you must carry.
Well said! I think that sums up the mini 2 se perfectly. It’s the camera that is always with me and can get almost any shot a lot of my other cameras and drones can. Where are you flying form if you don’t mind me asking?
I have a long format video on this topic. It’s truly not hard at all. Mostly just make sure to export at highest quality and upload to RU-vid app and it auto crops to vertical

Beautiful video and shots! I know these drones seem to practically fly themselves, but your skill, especially in manual circling shots and composing shots, is very impressive. I've learned a lot from your videos and information. Wife actually suggested we get a drone! :D My old drone is way out dated. Didn't know where to look so I pulled up best drones. Third one down was the first one in my price range - the DJI Mini 2 SE. For the first time in my purchase life, after looking at that on the internet (videos and ratings) I never looked at another one - bought it without even comparing it to others. Should be here tomorrow - I've waited 3 years (actually only 5 days) for it to get here! I'm SO excited. I've watched hours and hours of videos - mostly on the Mini 2 SE. I've also taken over 4 full pages of notes. Yours and a couple other drone RU-vid'rs make up the vast majority of what I've watched. I just can't wait to get mine and start learning and practicing. I've learned so much from your and others' videos - thank you for all the tips and information! You're a great pilot and narrator. And you go to great locations!

I would definitely start with something entry level. Don’t have any friends or family with a drone to try? If you have any video game experience that will help Also what is your budget. I’ll help you find a good option 🤘
Make sure you’re shooting in 2.7k video and exporting it in full resolution. I notice a lot of these drones default at 1080p even tho they can shoot higher
Hi there. Based on my experience yes. Anytime there is added interference between drone and controller the distance and connection is weakened. But you can work around this sometimes depending on where exactly
Great video, I just wished the background music you had was not actually drowning out your voice, but it did! I actually found it very annoying and your words were of no use basically from the time the music started which was a total bummer, otherwise I would have subscribed. Your narration was key to the video for me and very informative. As much as the beginning of any instructional anything is important so WAS the end. Music ruined the end.
Hey! Sorry to hear about that I try to keep it low so that you can still hear my voice. I found videos with no video just feel too quiet. My suggestion is to turn on the captions and maybe that will help to grab my narration more clearly. Hope this helps!
