I’m glad I watched your unboxing video. For a moment I thought my spare propellers and other accessories were missing. I didn’t realise they were in the bag pocket 🤦♂️
Same here , I had boxed it back up and got a returns label. Post office had closed so I was going to post it back in the morning . I just came across this vid and found out where they was .
Just bought one today, my first drone. I can tell you what the 'light' button is for. It's to totally confuse new drone owners who are so excited that they've not read the instructions properly and who think that more prominent button is the power button! 😂
Great footage, Paul. Wondering what your Yaw smoothness was set to as I notice some of the footage was a bit "jerky". Not being critical, just trying to understand how the settings work with the Mini 2. Thank you!
I was using a canon 16-35 L lens with the camera on an overhead rig with the lens hanging down. Over a year of use the lens started getting some focusing problems like hunting and blurring. I later changed to a new lens, but it happened again.
The spark is a heavy drone with terrible battery life, but it has extra collision avoidence. The mavic mini and mini 2 have less sensors but one battery lasts as long as the spark flymore set with 3 batteries. It is light and fast with 2k and 4k on the mini 2 instead of 1080p. Personally I would say the mavic mini 1 is an upgrade and the mini 2 is a must have! Yes, I still love my mavic mini 2 and you just made me want to fly it again. Thanks for watching.
the button at the back, when pressed and held, will turn on high-speed transfer mode, which will transfer the photos/videos from the drone to your phone after landing
Is this the best choice for beginer drone? I wondering bout the quality of camera, i mean i have to do process lots of stuff when copy 4k video in computer.
In my opinion, right now this is one of the easiest drones to fly and the video quality is great. Flight time is 20-30 minutes and with three batteries it is great for beginners because they can have lots of flight time each session. Thanks for watching.
Yes. It is quite a process at first. Charge all 3 batteries, then run the app and connect to the Mini 2, then update. Lockdown for a few weeks then go to fly and have to charge everything again because DJI batteries discharge themselves over time. Then run the app and connect, update to the newest software (again) Then fly beautifully for about 20 minutes each battery. Sounds like a lit of hassle, but it is all worth it when flying. Thanks for watching.
Are the batteries the same as the previous Mini? The black ones? Cause I crashed my Mini but I’m thinking about utilizing the same batteries on my new one
I think this is a very good drone, but can't get over the unnecessary LED light that they could've made sensors in it's place. You need to be very careful when you put the drone in a auto mode where you can't control it,it could just hit something so easily
Yes, you are of course right, but then the cost would be much higher. This is a lightweight drone with good function at a great price, I think DJI really knocked it out of the park with this one. Thanks for watching.
Well thank you for the warning. But after about 100 hours of flight time on the Mini 2 I have not had those issues, even when using the case. Thanks for watching.
Oooo so that’s what causes that .... I’ll test your theory out to see if taking the case off helps I thought the sunlight hitting the phone directly was the issue
If you want another small and fun drone then buy the Mini 2, if you want a bigger more capable drone that has the extra sensors then buy the Mavic. Just remember the weight will stop you flying at times with the Mavic. Thanks for watching.
Your video has the same issue of the dozens of other videos on this product that I've watched. You do show that it has different cables - type C to type C, type C to mini USB and so on, but the controller itself has an Apple lightning cable. I have a type C on my phone. Does that cable on the controller switch out so I can attach an Android phone to it? You're using an IPhone pro, which doesn't help me at all to get an answer. I'm picking up the included cables are for charging the batteries. I want to know about the connection between the controller and the phone!
who the hell cares ?!! who is the shepple who even registers these things ?? did y'all think some government black ops goon is going to be there with a fucking weighting scale and hand cuffs ??
When DJI make a big announcement that the drone is exactly the same weight as law allows, people take it seriously. At 250g you don't need to register it or take any lessons. Just a publicity stunt thats all. Anyway it is a great little drone. Thanks for watching.
HI Jaiden and thanks for your comment. I agree, it would be lovely. But if you look through my old videos, I used to include music. I almost lost my RU-vid channel because of it. RU-vid only allows music that no one owns, and they even allow you to download copyright free music from RU-vid. But, people started using that free music in their own tracks and then copyrighting the music as their own, this meant they could then claim my video music and then claim my monetised video as theirs. So now I don't even have intro or outro music anymore, so I don't get that problem anymore. 😔 Maybe things can change in the future, but I don't know. Thanks for watching.
Yes, I am aware of that but unfortunately I have done it more than once. Still works no problem luckily. But thanks for the warning and thanks for watching.
It was my wife's parents home, about 3 hours drive N-W of Hanoi. Beautiful countryside and the roads are all new now, it used to take much longer to get there. Thanks for watching.
WARNING! the dji fly app requires a phone that supports android 6.0 as written on their site but this is a necessary but not sufficient condition. YOU MUST OWN A 64bit PHONE otherwise you will not be able to install the app and fly your MINI 2 DJI "forgot" to include this info on their site ...
@@Paullebbon hi Paul. today i noticed that my comment is not visible from another account. unfortunately i made the same comment on multiple reviews of the mini 2 and youtube's n4z1 algorithm made it only visible to you and me. Maybe you can embed my comment in the video description or as your highlighted comment in order to protect a potential buyer. Thank you and have a good day
RU-vid can sometimes remove comments or statements it sees as spam or misinformation. Unfortunately I cannot go against their policy or they could remove my video. Maybe you can contact DJI and get them to issue a statement pointing out what you have found. Thank you again for your concern in protecting potential buyers. Have a great weekend.
@@Paullebbon it's like David against Goliath. Im pretty sure they are aware of it because that information come from a DJI official forum...over the weekend I will try to write to the consumer protection agency in my country, they recently fined Apple because their latest phone isn't waterprof as they say...
I know. It was recorded with the Canon R5 as well. Turned out to be the lens I was using. Most other videos were better but in the end I changed over to the R6 instead. Thanks for watching.
@@Paullebbon I do not want the new version because it may be at a more expensive price, but if the price goes down it will be good and I am excited I have not been able to sleep since two days of thinking about the Mini 2😂😂
Can’t stand it when they don’t have pull tabs on the plastic film. It ruins the whole experience for me and leaves a bad taste. Might consider not getting this now.
It never worried me. Years ago everything was so tied in with straps, plastic binders that were screwed through the box, nowadays things are simple to unbox. Thanks for watching.
@@Paullebbon I get lots of people asking about packaging. Specifically “ease” and “eco”. For me the experience starts with that first pull tab. Eco is very important as well. Although I am lazy and often toss stuff in the trash.
Hi, at 5m44s you can hear a little girl talking/crying. I live in an apartment building, and the nanny next door used to bring the family's daughter into the hall and walk around to stop the baby crying. She no longer works for the neighbour thankfully as she was a nasty woman. I no longer hear the little girl as she is older now. Thanks for watching.
Well, my kids are not babies anymore, but possibly the neighbour. My microphone can do asmr and picks up the slightest sounds around it. Thanks for watching.
I don't want to sound like a d head, this is just a suggestion. You should add music to the video and instead of recording and talking over the video you should record and talk at the same time
Hi, thank you for the suggestions. I don’t use music in my videos anymore. It turns out even music from the RU-vid creative section can be claimed by someone if it gets remixed/edited. When they claim the money, it is for the whole video. I have even had to take away my intro music now. I also used to do live unboxing videos until my little dog became part of my family. Unfortunately she barks at anything and can ruin a video in seconds. So this is the way my videos get made now. Thanks for watching.
