Matt I’m 73 and just bought a DJI Mini 2 Your videos are fantastic for beginners My photography skills are zero but thanks to these informative clips I’ve learnt a lot and every day is another adventure Thankyou Steve

Hello…I’m going to purchase my first drone. My two choices are either DJI mini 3 or mini 3 Pro (which will be for my 8 year old son for Christmas). I wasn’t sure which features I really wanted our drone to have. This video definitely helped me figure it out! I feel my best option is to get the Pro because I will also be able to use the tracking feature when my family and I go on our hikes. Thanks for all the great info!👍
Very well done review. I'm still glad I got the mini 3 pro a couple months ago. Now I want an Avata after binging on all of your Avata videos last night. Keep up the good work 👏
I just ordered the mini 3 yesterday. Your video helped to build my confidence in the choice I made. This will never my first flying experience so am looking into the “ insurance” coverage. I live in Alaska so look forward to bringing home great photos to help save the memories of my outdoor adventures.
I watched all of the video contents before purchase, during training and then using it, creating projects using the DJI Mini 3 Pro. I hope im lucky to be part of the 3 winners for free DJI refresh care.. Keep up all the info I need to learn on this particular drone.
Thanks for the comparison Matt! I've got the Mini 3 recently and I can tell it's fantastic ! I had the mini 2 before and the difference is really noticeable. Cheers!
Your video presentation is always so well put together that it inspires me to get out there and fly. I have the mini 2 which has served me well and the mini 3 does have some nice upgrades . I don’t know how many times I had the mini 3 pro in my cart and just never hit checkout . Keep the videos coming and I will keep learning🖖
Cracking video! Looking to get myself a Mini 3 Pro, and especially after this video you've done a fab job of reassuring me that the mini 3 pro is right Drone for me!!
Purchase the DJI MINI3 by clicking here: click.dji.com/AHHBVD2eakmLISm-scLxIw?ch=launch-mini3-matthewwvrennan&pm=custom . PS: The competition has now ENDED, but please still leave a comment as it's greatly appreciated.
Mattheww thanks for sharing , much respect from Monterey California area 🌊 , My question ❓ to you is , as a beginner droney , would the mini 3 pro be too much for me to handle , or is it a beginner friendly drone. Thanks 🤝🏻
this drone is just e-waste 4k30 , no obstacle avoidance - essentially a mini2 in a new shell iso 3200 vs 4k60 6400 iso nowhere near as good as the mini 3 pro who is this drone for ? mini 2 owners ? all the new features have been available through litchi for ages , so again, whats the point of this drone and who is it for ?
Hey Matthew, I think you missed my comment. I had a quick question. You mentioned in this video that each pixel is subdivided into 4 sections (the same principle that allows shooting 48mp photos on the Mini 3 Pro) and that this was beneficial for low light. So with the Mini 3 PRO, in low light is it better to shoot in 12mp or the quasi-48mp?
Thank you for the very useful information. I finally decided after a very long time, and I found a flexible way of paying for it, i purchased a mini 3 as an entry-level professional drone. I have wanted to get into the professional drone game for years, and I finally took the leap. I can't wait to start the journey and learn how to use my new mini 3 to its full potential... I was so worried about not having the pro with the sensors, but now that I have the mini 3, I am very happy and satisfied. Enjoy drone life, people. I look forward to watching more videos and growing my experiences.
Bought the dji mini 3 with rc controller as my first drone, there's so much information to take in for a first timer hopefully by watching the rest your videos it will make it a lot easier.
I was planning to buy a Mini 3 Pro with RC controller, but now this gives me something to think about and maybe consider picking up Mini 3 with fly more combo instead.
Excellent comparison info for the Mini 3 & Mini 3 Pro, Just watched the Video as I'm lucky enough to have just been bought a DJI Mini 3 for my Birthday from my Son, So looking to do some short videos then onto bigger things....
Excellent review, extremely helpful in my consideration to buy a DJI. I will go for the Mini 3 Pro combo for the additional collision sensors. Thank you!
A very useful video, thank you. I'm in the process of buying my first drone and had narrowed it down to the DJI Mini 3 and the Mini 3 Pro. I'm now leaning towards the Mini 3 Thanks for explaining the differences in easy to understand terms.
Mattheww, this was a great comparison. You certainly have the nack for presenting the information required for new consumers looking to buy their first and additional drones. Much appreciated! Keep the videos coming.
@@TheDroneCreative Mattheww I watched the noise comparison segment, but could you please tell me how the Mini 3 compares to the Mini 3 Pro for noise? Are they the same? Thank you.
Matt, thank you for this great comparison. I have a Mini 2 and just received a new Mini 3 yesterday. I won’t open it until Christmas, and can’t wait to use all the new upgrades from my M2. You are spot on when describing the features of the M2P that folks like me don’t need, and I saved a ton of money by going with the M3. Thanks for your videos!
Awesome comparison Mattheww! I love my mini3 pro and am glad I have that as well as the mini2 but this mini3 is a game changer for someone just starting to fly! Almost a no brainer!! Cheers!
I sm waiting for my mini 3 pro to be delivered . A lot of the reason i am buying the mini 3 pro is do to the fact of your advice. I think you make very comprehensive and in depth videos. There is a lot to consider when buying a real drone not the quad 4 supper dupper do everything drone from the US and Canadian military . Now avaible from dudd that retired . Breath of fresh air on how honest you are anout the content you put out. Thankyou.
Feature are in details, Anyone who has no experience buying drone, has all the information Required, Impressive. thanks for the video helped a lot. I m eager to win a drone.
Thank you so much for the very informative review for someone who hasn’t purchased one yet. I’ve been watching reviews on RU-vid for the last 2-3 weeks. I’m leaning more towards this drone as I’m just a beginner
Thanks for the detailed video. Your videos are always so informative and I learn a lot. I still have a mini 2 but would consider a mini 3 after watching your video. Nice job.
Mini 3 Pro worth the difference if being honest, fantastic camera and features, and controller screen very good even in sunlight, despite what some reviews have said, obviously didn't know you can increase brightness via pull down screen, great flyer, awesome camera, fantastic remote, and all under 250g,what's not too love 😀
I'd actually really want a mini 3 or pro, but it's "a bit" too expensive for me. I actually just ordered my first drone, a few hours ago. (Mini se.) I know, surprise, surprise. :) Anyway, I love your content. You've taught me quite a lot.
@@TheDroneCreative My only problem is I can’t change my sticks in custom mode to the way I fly on my DJI RCA’s so I will have to wait for another update before I can use the controller so at the moment I’m using my mini 2 controller which I can change my stick mode to the way I fly ,very strange I think
Another great video Matt, although I was a bit worried how close you were getting to the edge of that cliff when you were talking about active track 🙂I must admit, it looks like the new Mini 3 is more of a replacement for the Mini 2 in terms of it's capabilities. What I would like to see is DJI change their models to a more modular format so that you can attach whichever camera module you want (say the one on the Mavic 3 classic) on the sub-250g models and use with a smaller battery (i.e. to keep the weight under 250g). You could then switch back to a lower grade camera with a higher battery capacity. In fact, I sent this suggestion to DJI the other day and they have passed it on to their Development Team for consideration. I just hope that if this is something DJI adopt going forward, it doesn't make you job harder with the various combinations that will be available to us end users🙂
haha, it's a very popular walk around that cliff! I agree, this Mini 3 is the clear replacement for the Mini 2. A modular style drone would be very popular I think. Have a "base" drone with different camera attachments for example - I would definitely back that!
