Hey man you have the best review over youtube of this drone mini 3 pro. Came from 10 videos later, and youtubers like ijustine and naaaa they just shows the drone as new fancy toy but not as technically, precise and compared as you. Thank you for the time of making this. You are the only one video that i give like.
Now this video is great! Details well demonstrated and explained. No pointless theatrics, no wasting half the video on trying to be funny and all that nonsense I've had to sit through.
I'm still waiting for the Air 2S "Pro" but I think I'll get this one for my next trip. I'm impressed with the F/1.7 aperture. I always forget to press the other button when I try to zoom in and out so the dedicated wheel is a good one to have. Looks like you've been pretty busy, Aldryn. Nice comparison of the different consumer DJI drones; excellent presentation as always.
I think it will be an A3 and I’ll be patient. I believe the M2P will be replaced by the A3 with many of the same goodies just better overall since the M2P is 4 to 5 year old technology now. Still is a great drone but with the Mavic 3 released there is no reason to continue upgrading it. Never know though. All wishful thinking but a completely redesigned A3 with 40 mins flight actual flight time, adjustable aperture, side sensors etc. would be amazing if in the $1,600 to $1,800 price range. As I said though, with DJI lately you never know what they throw out there. Enjoy.
I'm glad you're not one of those guys that spreads a lot of misinformation and guesses about a product you already know the details of. So many people do that.
I started with a Mini... it was so disappointing that I gave it away; got an Air 2. It was decent but didn't track worth crap. Sold it, got a Skydio 2+. Was VERY disappointed in that thing for too many reasons to go in here; returned it. Now I have a Mini 3 Pro on order. Can't wait!

Great upgrade to the Mini2.. I can see that the pice has upgraded as well. The Mini 3 being under 250grams was supposed to be in the budget drone hobbyist category.. But with the fly-more package DJI is already at about $1000 price tag vs $600 for the Mini2 Fly-more package. I'll wait till prices come down a bit. The Mini3 Pro sure looks like a nice upgrade over the Mini2. Too bad the Mini2 batteries are not compatible with he Mini3.
I accidentally clicked another video while watching this. The ‘time stamp ’ splits made it easier to find my place. Also, the clarity of speech 🎤/ depth of voice is good, so I am able to listen at 1.75x speed. I almost can listen on 2x speed, but am new to drones, so miss the specs at that speed.

I despised DJI for the longest time, so hesitant because of the lessened data privacy or where and what their proceeds actually contribute to.. After several years of everything but the brand, ive had Anafi(holding onto that one she's staying with me🥰), Couple Fimi X8se20's, various Bebop 3.0, Bebop 2's( holding onto a bb2 power version as well pretty cool for fpv), different mix variations and so many more. I pulled the trigger on the mini2 fly more combo earlier this month and I tell you what, I totally get it now. Once you experience that flyability precision, camera quality and even build quality ime and imo its obvious why everyone can look past any shortcomings or questionable other topics, the really are the best of the industry. Im a customer for life now and will be getting the mini3 soon. Thank you DJI for such incredible products.

Amazon USA: This item will be released on June 29, 2022.....If true, that's a bit of a wait. DJI store showing shipping 5/31/2022 for $909 version.....Other versions $759 starting in August of 2022 so seems different packages shipping at different times.
Thanks for this video - it was very helpful to see the full details as I wait for my drone. What do you recommend for the storage and type of memory card for the drone? Also I see that both the drone and the controller have memory card slots. Can you explain in a video how you would use both? This will be my first drone so a set up and basics video with the mini 3 would be great! Thanks!

Thank you for saying 2 times zoom and 3 times zoom. Not this stupid 2 ex and 3 ex crap that some of the less educated RU-vidrs say. It makes you sound like a proper photographer and not a child reading a manual without any understanding. I've just subscribed having watched a few of your videos.
Great in depth review, I have the mini 2, and this new mini 3 pro has way better features that i am looking for, I wish dji had a trade in and up program, thank you for a great RU-vid channel, you are a great vlogger
Hopefully with the big obstacle avoidance sensors we can stop polluting trees with mavics & educate the difference between yaw & roll much quicker to new pilots.
As much as I love the Mini 3 and would sell my Mini 2 to buy one - every single review is now dissing the Mini 2 which this time last week was the best thing since sliced bread.
Super excited to use this on my travels! I still love the Mavic 3 cine for work; however, I need something light to come along for long trips or quick shots. I have been waiting for an in-depth video of the settings, thanks, man!

Very detailed... Thanks.... Is the Mini 3 Pro able to be hand launched? Out of the many videos I've seen, I don't recall seeing that done... But I have seen hand recoveries.
For the average user the Mini 2 is all you need. I do like the controller with the built in screen. I will end up getting one eventually just so I don't have to use my phone as the screen.
Urgh, I was patiently waiting for this drone to come out towards the end of last year as I wanted one for a trip away. Ended up getting the Mini 2 instead. I would have bought this straightaway. Oh well, I'll just have to wait until it's time for another upgrade.

One of the questions that I’ve been asking since I heard about the new controller and no one has been able to answer and that is: Does the new controller with the display haVe HDMI out so that you can connect it to (say) the DJI FPV goggles and get that FPV immersive view experience.
