If you have never flown a drone before and have just received the DJI Mini 3 this guide and tutorial is a great place to start learning how to operate and fly your new drone. Milla, I’m just looking into this hobby and came across the DJI Mini 3. Still practicing on the much smaller toy drones. As a beginner, how comfortable are these to fly? They look so much more controllable/maneuverable than the smaller toy drones I’m practicing with. Can you give me an idea of what it was like with your first flight on the Mini 3? I'm going to use a Mini 3 to photo document the remains of an old bridge just outside of my home town of Salinas. We have 8,500 members on our local history page on FB and I think they will just love to see this.

Just dont complacent with flying it. Today on a job I hit some leaves in a tree with a mini1. It dropped 10 feet to the ground. I thought it was ok so I took it up again and it just took off vertically until it lost connection then dropped 600 feet and crashed. Now Im looking at a new one...
