I told myself I wouldn't spend the money on the upgrade to the Air series, but then I have to spend $200+ for a RID module if i don't. So makes it hard to justify keeping the Mini 2.
I sold my P3S and Mavic Mini (as well as a nice Lumix point and shoot) a few months ago to free up some cash in anticipation of getting either Air 2S (gotta love a 1” sensor) or Mini3 Pro. Seems like the longer I wait, the more new stuff DJI brings out. I figure tomorrow there’s going to be a ton of used Mini3 Pros hitting the streets, so maybe it’s time to pull the trigger but this Mini 4 looks sweet. I really want Waypoints tho. I had it in the P3S (via Ground Station Pro) and it was amazing.
I used Litchi with my old P3S, and am probably gonna start doing it with my mini 1 and mini 2. But would be nice to have it standard with a drone with obstacle avoidance.
You said its the same camera as the air 3. Does that mean it will have the same stacked sensor? Ive yet to confirm that with any of the leaked specs. Mightve just missed it
I was specifically referring to the sensor size and the photo quality. Not sure yet if it'll have the same stack. We shall see in the morning, I suppose!
I bought a Mini 3 Pro six weeks ago, then returned it unopened the next day. I was searching for info on the Air 3 to see if I’d rather have a larger drone, when I stumbled across rumors of the Mini 4 Pro. So glad I did, because the Mini 4 Pro will be a wonderful upgrade from my Mini 2. I’m absolutely going to buy the Mini 4 Pro as soon as it’s available, as I love the portability of the sub 249g drones. My Mini 2 goes almost everywhere with me.
Not the slightest bit interested in this drone. My mini 3 pro and mavic 3 classic are very capable...there will be a mini 5...mini 6..etc etc so if you want to enrich DJI then that's your choice.
If someone flies it 12 miles away, wouldn’t they lose their FAA license (assuming they have one)? 😅 And yes, I’m buying the Mini Pro 4… I don’t have a drone, so I think it’d be a good fit to learn on & help me get my license.
If someone got caught, they would definitely get in trouble! No way you can see a drone that far. But they word it ambiguously on purpose, so who knows.
Crashed my mini 3 pro the other day and had a Best Buy warranty the guy ended given me store credits and that’s the only reason I’ll be upgrading because currently I don’t have a drone
If I buy the mini 4 pro it will be an upgrade of the mini 3 pro. Of course because of the all around obstacle avoidance, but also because it is compatible with the RC 2 controller, which the 3 is not.
