Loved the review and used the link to buy one. Perfect timing as I get my new Yeti SB160 in just over a week. Pleased to see how well your channel is doing.
I just bought it in the morning here in Thailand. I have never had any action camera before and I think my smartphone is too old because I cannot download or export the files. I definitely will need to learn how to use the Action 4 as a very beginner.
@@r00kiet80 I just went to the DJI store in Centralworld Shopping Center in Bangkok and I bough it haha, I just checked the receipt, it was 10:30:22am on 02/08/23 and they were just opening the store. Fun! Maybe I was the first official buyer of a DJI action 4 hahaha
I'm honestly sick of gopro, I've owned many and the battery management is terrible and I can't believe all these years later the new cameras still have the same problem. If the camera is off the charger for 3hrs it will drop from 100% to 70% then I go to start filming at 70% and it just shuts down on low battery. This is the Hero 10 with brand new batteries. My dad has used the original osmo action and never had any problems with battery life, it will drain all the way down. The gopros just love shutting down if the battery isn't full.
I only used the DJI mic (which works very well) BUT check out this video, the concepts should still apply (Although I've not personally tested): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nFy41dQShDA.html
Yes, for biking I went a whole day and got 35 clips approx 30-90 seconds long, with a few timelapses and static bike shots and had a load left in the tank. I also noticed it charged really quick, from 20% to 80% i timed it and it took 21 minutes.
Everything is great except video quality 😂 I understand DJI paid now many youtubers but unfortunately the pov bike shots are pretty not worthy to watch. As a RU-vidr I would rather put video quality first for the long term benefit rather than a sponsorship of an action cam brand 😊
it has about 10 mp in 4:3 sensor, so not enough pixels for true 4K 16:9 video. It uses interpolation! Sensor resolution is 3648×2736, for 4K you need at least 3840 pixels width. Also the video is pretty blurry on the borders.
Possibly, I think when editing back the image quality and dynamic range on the Osmo is better. Also, that was 1080p, and couldn't get anywhere near the low light capability of this one.
Yes, there are always parts, that look extremely blurry (nature on the side), not sure why dji is not able to fix it, was also a problem on the previous model 🤔
I also use GoPro, great camera, but all depends on what features you like / need! The usability of the DJI is perfect for me, the way it mounts is extremely quick and easy. It makes it much easier to film content, especially speaking to camera on a bike 👍 We have great choices now though for sure!
@@RobRidesEMTB Thanks for the reply. too bad, the 422 and a clean HDMI port and we had a real Action CAM for cinematic action scenes. let's hope in the next versions, in the meantime the sensor could still grow up to the One inch 🙂
Quite a few unbiased vloggers say that the GP11 is still better than the OA4 ' and when the GP12 is coming very soon, I'd wait a few more weeks to decide...
@@RobRidesEMTB Don't get me wrong. I normally appreciate the concise and lucid manner in which you elucidate the products you review. However, in my perspective, it would have been more appropriate to commence this promotional presentation by clearly stating that it is a sponsored promotion from the very outset, rather than briefly a quick 4 seconds on-screen reference followed by a fleeting absence of acknowledgement.
