Just got my dgi om 4 and I am having a little difficulty with learning the app. I am trying to get my gimbal to follow my filming target at several angles, but every time I try to do that the gimbal automatically moves my camera and swerves back and forth. I’ve tried tilt locking my gimbal but it still moves from side to side without any control. I’ve also tried the other settings and the gimbal never allows my phone camera to move with me. Am I doing something wrong? Would appreciate some tips.
Are you attaching the phone using a case. If so, please remove the case and attached the gimbal directly to the phone. If the problem isn't solved, may be you got a defective one. You should consult the seller. Thanks.
@@DSmartLife I guess my rephrased question would be, do I have to hold the trigger down to get the gimbal to keep my phone steady? I find that when I don’t do that, my phone tilts and swerves more than I expected when I’m moving it around, even if it is calibrated and centered on the clip.

Sorry if I have missed it. It has 3M sticky glue with which you can use to stick the magnetic mount directly on the back of the phone using the placement guide. It works on metal/plastic/glass backed phones. The quick magentic mount is to stick to the gimbal arm, not to stick to the phone. Thanks.

@@mohitthorat4420 When walking, it stabilizes very good as I have shown in the video. And if you walk carefully you can get a cinematic footage. While running you can activate sports mode and it is much better than without this gimbal. Thanks.
@@mohitthorat4420 I don't think there is any issue like that. Mine is working well. Flickering effect is when you put the magnetic mount over the phone case. And you should properly center the Gimbal mount for best performance. You can easily do it as I have shown in end of the video. Thanks.
