Wow this was good. What I would have loved to see at the end was the complete project. I want to see the completed story arc… why you need the gimbal, what it does, how to use it, then the final results, the edited video showing all those techniques combined into a short video. people making interview video about gimbals are telling every thing on gimbal ,but they're not talking about image stabilisation. these devices made for this. ..still video image. thank you for test that options. very useful for me.

thanks JD, quite helpful. i moved from Zhyihun to DJi, i faced some problems with the former, sometimes it acts up and the axis does not work as expected one time i failed completely, the good thing that the Zhiyun as over the DJis is that it has a built in Flash with multiple LED color cover options
Wow. How far this device has come. I had the original Osmo Mobile in its gigantic foam box and had to sell it as phones got bigger and heavier over my Galaxy S5 at the time. I might have to pick this up.

Loving the consistency that I’ve already used similar functions here with the Osmo 6 that is also used similarly in my Action 4 camera, (Mimo) and in flying the Mini 4 Pro’s active track features. I have a question, I’m debating between the DJI Osmo Mobile 6 and the Insta360 Flow Pro. When using the DJI Mimo app, is there any paid subscriptions or do I have to pay to use any of the app feature? I’m just looking for a gimbal that I can use to record and take picture when I go on vacation only.

I have a Sony ZV-1 camera but don't fancy paying three times the cost of an Osmo mobile 4 or 6 for a gimble. If I only want to set the ZV-1 recording and don't need any of the controls and only want the gimble function, is there a way to use the ZV-1 with this gimble?

Awesome video. I have an android and the app isn't available. I googled it and it says DJI stopped supporting apps after like 2021. So I'm confused. Do I need the app in order for this to work or no? I feel like without the app, I don't get all the use of the gimble.

What I miss is that how to attach accessories, such as a light and / or a microphone to the phone or the gimbal. For example, a slot for them on the top of the phone holder clip would be handy.
Great video, will the phone clamp on this fit over larger phones (pixel 8 pro) with a good case on or will it need to be no case or a very slim one? I've just bought a new phone and it's stabilization is ok but I'd like to try to do more filming on it and think this would be a useful tool. Wil this work as a tripod too? Could it do phone level astro or would that be better on a camera tripod be better?

I recently got mine and use your video... great job... how can I go from selfie cam to front cam while taking video. Mine a message pops up saying you can't do it until the recording is stopped... I found this to be a major bummer - is there a workaround?

Excellent detailed tutorial for the Osmo 6!! It's easily the best one I've seen. I have both the Osmo 6 and the Flow 360 and while I was using my Pixel 6 Pro they both worked great. Now that the iPhone 15 is out I upgraded to the 15 Pro Max for the ability to record in ProRes. Being that neither the Mimo or the 360 apps allow recording in ProRes these gimbals seem pretty worthless until the apps are updated by the companies, IF they even will update them. So do you have any suggestions for a gimbal which is usable while using either the native camera app or the Blackmagic app for recording in ProRes?
On DJ Mimo how do I mirror image the picture when I'm taking a selfie so that it sees my writing left to right instead of right to left - this is for teaching purposes. Thanks.
I am new to this DJI thing. I don't see the Auto mode on the left side. I also don't see the shutter speed, ISO and EV settings at the bottom. I am using a Samsung phone if that matters.
