DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Real World from a Stills Photographer.

I much prefer to see a video review like this with normal real world footage. It’s far more useful that some fancy cinematic video of someone talking about specs

Have one on the way myself. I wasn't sold on the first few iterations, but just like the DJI Action 3 vs 4 - they've made huge leaps from one generation to the next. Thanks for the stock untouched footage!

What a refreshing, straightforward video. Your daughter is lucky to have you as her Dad. (Reminds me of mine, but I'm not so sure that mine is as lucky as yours!). Your perspective as a photographer dabbling with video, and getting very good results from this little camera, made a change from the others which are a bit more... commercial, shall I say? (The scene with your daughter reminded me how when I was a classical music recording engineer, at one CD session the pianist was a lovely guy but he was never satisfied with the take we'd just done. I remember at one point the exasperated producer said to him over the intercom, "James, that was take 17 of that line in the music - do we really need to do another one?" There was a brief pause, and then the reply came back from him - "That one was perfect. This one will be better". And actually, it was!)

Subscribed because you seem like an awesome guy, and the interaction with your daughter was wholesome and smile inducing. Also, the comment about getting rid of your daughter for four hours being great because .. FOOD! 🤣😂

Thanks for making this, this has been my favourite coverage so far on the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 by far. I have the Pocket 1 but you just convinced me to upgrade, thank you for a real world take. I just loved how you covered this, thank you.

I’m with you. Had first two iterations. The first one I took on a 5 month journey around UK and used it a lot, it was so unobtrusive and handy, came back home and hardly ever used it but still fell into buying the second version and never used it. But you’ve kind of pushed me over the threshold and I see myself going out and getting one now. I will tell the wife you made me do it. .

Amigo, you packed a lot of useful info in < 8 mins. That's not 'taking this long'. I wish other youtubers could be that concise. I would loved to have gotten your opinion of it as a still camera though, given your experience with higher end DSLRs.

I apreciate the video footage but I think as viewers we would get a better idea of video quality if you uploaded in 4K on something like this. The footage looks mediocre in 1080.

Seriously??? When I first saw you, the first thing that came to my mind was "this guy needs to grow out his hair! It's way too short"....just my opinion...

How much did you process audio. Mine is on the way and I saw one person claiming they were into audio and they sound was very tin like but there have been like 4-5 others where is sound great. Did you activate 32bit float?

I am an action video creator. I own the GoPro 7,8,9,10,11 & 12 with the Max Lens 2.0 superview that I love - will I buy the Pocket 3 - not for me - I am not a Vlogger - plus it is not water proof. Lastly - I need everything to work - 100% - if RU-vid says no to China - then what?

you almost feel like you are about to cry. This is the most awesome review. that a customer is so happy with the ergonomics of a device. that has really bridged the gap for a creator and the hassle he faces. I am so excited that I feel like buying 2 DJI osmo pocket 3.

I'm a photographer too. I have the pocket 2 and used it a couple of times. My issue is that I get lazy about getting the footage to edit. Looking at the reviews of the Pocket 3 wondering if it would solve my issue. Is getting the footage easier?Any tips for us non video dudes😂

With all the modern phones and their capabilities including stabilized footage, is there a place for the Osmo?
