We have recently added this DJI Osmo Pocket 3 to our travel kit, and its pretty solid. I know we are probably pretty late to the game now that its 8 months old..... In this video I wanted to cover both the pros and the cons of this and some alternatives. Hopefully if you are thinking about getting one this video helps. I've got to agree that D-Log M has no SUPER extra benefit. During colour grading, it seems that it doesn't keep that much to pull up/down. iPhone 15 with a smaller sensor has much more data.

AGREED… I wished DJI would put FULL D-Log in this camera + wide color space . D-Log-M is just a flat profile with an unknown colorspace…. Apple is winning with their Apple Log in iPhones as its a fully published spec!

Hy, great video! Was this shot in normal picture profile? Or DLOG-M and color graded?

Neither! This video was filmed in The Rec.2020/HLG Profile -> color graded then Converted to Rec 709! TBH this is the best way to shoot with this camera as it is a published known wide color space and you could do HDR with this as well (but the sensor is somewhat limiting in the HDR world)!
