Holy sh*t. They really went all out packing in so many of the requests from the previous version, talk about listening to consumer feedback, they nailed it!
I skipped the Pocket 1, so this one is for me. Any camera with Zoom is for me! I love the different angles or fields of views that zoom or interchangeable lenses offers. Thanks for sharing 😊
Even Dexter is like "Damn, she's got a lot of knives 😳" 😂 Also day#587 of wondering why you and Jenna don't sell shirts that say "I'm shook/shooketh", "Shopp-ing" and "Turburturr" 🤔😂
The lightning adapter doesn't work i.e. doesn't make the DJI Mimo app pop up automatically if using the Apple soft case that she is using, because the lightning port doesn't fit snug due to the thickness of the case, you have to remove the case to make it work. But obviously she did not test it. This is the problem with most of these reviews, they don't test it thoroughly.
When I watched this video a few months ago, it made me decide to choose this little camera against gopro. I bought it and I just unboxed mine yesterday. It's pretty cool and cute!
May I ask a question: If you have to pick up a camera for a hiking trip, what would you choose between the DJI Pocket 2 ($350) and the OM-4 Gimbal ($150) working with your own Smart Phone Camera, and briefly explain why, please??
I doubt she will answer, but for whatever it's worth, cost aside, I think most would choose a flagship smartphone + gimbal. But a flagship smartphone is up to $1500. With the pocket 2 you get a flagship grade sensor and lens, + gimbal for 350. So that's where the value is, especially if all a person wants or can afford is a $300 smartphone. You also get small form-factor. Can make videos and vlog in public without drawing attention, there's a lot of value to that.
when youre vlogging in public you wouldnt want too much attention, the pocket is good, if attention isnt your problem then get the osmo mobile 3/4. also size is important, i have the osmo 3 and i occasionally leave it at home only to realize i shouldve picked it, the osmo pocket is small enough to just fit in your pocket and not bother, so you would likely have it everywhere.
I recently came across your channel.. I seen videos in the past but probably browsed by them tbh.. rewatching now days I feel your channel is a lot better explanation, demonstrations than other channels when it comes to reviews.. keep up the good work
almost opened the box this way. it's a bit confusing as it opens from the side like a cover but there are "inserts" at the top and bottom. had a bit of a laugh tho.
I love my Osmo pocket, and I was like "huh, what could they have possibly done to improve it?" and then I immediately saw the tiny tripod and I was like "Oh. Yeah that would be helpful". lol
I just bought a GoPro hero 12 and I love it. I was considering getting a gimbal, but the pocket 2 can be had now for about twice the price of the gimbal. Any thoughts on whether you think the pocket 2 is worth it in 2024? It’s under $300 now and readily available. I’m mostly going to use it alongside my hero 12, but for lower light conditions. I know the pocket three has great low light capability, but it looks like the pocket two is no slouch and low light. I would love your thoughts. Do you think it’s worth it in 2024 since it’s under $300 now?
