I was actually considering the Sony ZV-E10 a couple weeks ago. I'm glad i didn't buy it. I always use smartphone for making my content. Now i have this little camera capable of 4k 60fps and even 4k 120fps for B-rolls. This is definitely a game changer for content creators ❤
This is why i still watch Ben because his styles are different than others, i say his Videos like reviewing a phone you can see how the camera of the handle to day to day usage. Thanks ben for this😍
Honestly I think the price is great for what it is and would love to get this for personal/hobby use! Loved watching the video, keep up the great work. Been a fan for 2-3 yrs
i've been following your journey so far for the last 4 years, and glad this pocket 3 helps your work. love your review as always. but reviewing in the street is always the best . Oh, another thumb up for jakarta.
The Creator combo set costs about RM 2,900 here in Malaysia but I don't think it's anyway expensive considering the brilliant features and how much it will help especially a beginner like me who have been struggling to find the right gadget to use to start a good video and picture shooting for my coming RU-vid contents. Though DJI is just a very young company but with this Pocket 3, it destroy those giants and their conservative products. Thanks for sharing your honest review and opinion and looks like I'm gonna get one very soon and yes, definitely for the combo set. Cheers from Kuching, Sarawak.
The killer feature is the ultra wide angle lens attachment that obliterates iPhone's uw when filming yourself. For filming in front ( as opposed to self ), I think iPhone does a commendable job ( and only slightly worse in low light, if not extreme, that's still usable. )
I'm agree with you, this camera seems to be the ultimate solution for anybody who wants to make a good film easily ! I have a Sony ZV1 but I think I will not keep it (for photos my Pixel 7a is enough) I don't understand why people are not more exciting for this little camera ! :) Thank for your video and enthousiam. Michael from France.
First video ive seen by you and love your input from previous camera journey, basically all camera considerations ive ever had other than the new insta360 go3 and some of there 3d cams. Anyways love improvements, but id like to see a cheaper light version of this Saw it in store compared to my dji osmo pocket 1 and its biggg when you get it all together with the handle and tripod base. Changes: - the phone usb c attachment on the side is now gone, just move the usb c charging port to the side and have the camera mounting screw port on bottom - unsure but maybe the new sensor contributes to size but if not then a light version just a smaller sensor for those on a budget but still have the wireless mic option built in (this one is more about price than size but it might be both) - make the tripod the external battery pack itself why add an attachment to an attachment
This was the most practical product review i saw on RU-vid. As a content creator this video clarified all my queries. I do have one question though, If i already have a transmitter from DJI MIC then will it connect with the OSMO pocket 3?
IMAGINE: If DJI Pocket 4 has 2 lenses, one on each side, one 20mm and the other 50 or 85mm, they would DESTROY the vlogging camera industry. Let's get the word out and maybe DJI will listen!
nice. yeah I'm running into the exact main issue is I preffer to use my iPhone over my ZV-E10 for most walk and talk type stuff but I can't see myself.
keeping my gear light and small is essential too cuz I travel so much. what do you do for lighting? having trouble finding some good packable lights I can bring around with my
I would agree this is the best camera of the year. I'm pretty happy with my purchase of the Pocket 3 now I just need some Polarpro ND filters and I'll be all set.
I'd say this is not very cheap, at least compared to the last dji pocket 2. But I know that it's a little bit more pricey than pocket 2 because it has a lot of improvements. But at the end it's really cheap compared to a full camera set up. Dji has made a perfect camera that performs better than most cameras for video. I said it before and I'll say it again , Dji is about to take over the camera industry.
Nice video. Have you also tried the new iPhone 15 pro? I’m curious how you find its stabilization and camera quality esp compared to the Osmo pocket 3.
Hello Ben! I love your reviews I have a couple of questions about the OSMO 3: 1. Can you take pictures? With how many pixels and in what aspect ratio? 2. You can rotate the camera to record video
This is a very good product for those who want to start their career in RU-vid and Tiktok and other social media platforms Because this is a very affordable under 700 Dollar Otherwise you have to pay $2000 or $3000 for a Good Camera gear I love you video you make a very good content love from Pakistan
This is a very interesting camera, I've got to say. That $3000 Sony camera you've been though,it does seem like has more features and more suited for people who want to make high-quality video recording in order to upload on RU-vid.That camera seems great, but,at the same time,I think the nearly $550 price for that tiny camera is definitely fair.
After my sessions with friends today I realised how important a good wide angle camera is. Front facing camera is not it 😂. But at least I've got a lot of footages of our bachelorette party. Maybe I'll get this someday so I can record more moments without relying too much on my smartphone.
Would have bought it but I don't want the background constantly blurred every time I hand hold and film myself. When outside in beautiful places, I'd rather shoot with the action 4 than the pocket 3.
This. This is the reason that I’m also not getting the pocket 3 and considering going for action 4. I’ve been using my iPhone 14 Pro for videos but have just sold it and got the regular 14. The money that is left will be invested in action 4 instead. I hope i will not regret 🤷🏻♂️
Hi can you point out the time code? I don't see anything on my Mac screen when I'm editing or on phone when I'm watching. I wonder if it's the file format
@@bensgadgetreviews minute 1:35 there is a white dead pixel on the top corner of the pillow on the couch to your left( right of my screen). That view is where it is most prominent across the video.
What source says this is a Sony sensor? All smartphones and this gimball with 1" are : 1" "Type" ( it´s a long story, but it´s something like 1" with a 2,7x crop )
Errr at certain point in your video there are like... dead pixels in the screen. I was thinking OMG my 1400e monitor has broken... Other than that, thanks for the video hehe
@@bensgadgetreviews In fact, dead pixels are present in all shots taken at home, but in close-ups (at higher ISO I'd assume) they are much more apparent. Were these parts (e.g. sitting on the sofa) shot with the Sony ZV-E1 or another camera?
DJI products (cameras) always look nice, 2:34 but product was crap. I had both the Pocket 1 and Action 1 but the quality was so bad. After DJI replaced both products, I ended selling off both. Happy to be away from DJI cameras.
Where do you see them? I legit don't see anything on my Mac screen when I edit nor do I see it phone screen now when I'm watching it back. I wonder if it's something about the file type and how it doesn't play nice on certain screens
They can be seen clearly in the macro shots of the DJI like in 5:35 and 6:35 (against dark backgrounds) while using the Sony camera. Sorry for the late response
