Hi! How is your zoom going with Ronin wheel? Mine is not smooth at all with a lot of jumps and I can't move to a certain focal length. I'm on PZ 18-105 and Ronin SC

Very helpful video! I have just ordered and wait for the multi c cable in order to have zoom access with the Ronin S wheel to my Sony A7III. Just a few questions : I have red that it is also possible to take pictures (very helpful for me as a wedding photographer) by using the multi cable ..How do you manage that, do you use the rec button, as well? And with the multi cable, can we touch the screen to get the right focus in the continuous mode ?Or how do you get the right focus with the multi cable ? Thanks a lot 👍🏻😁

I have a Ronin S and a Sony A7s3 with Sigma 24-70 2.8 lens. I also have the original MCC-C cable but when I connect all of this madness together only the Start/Stop record button on the Ronin S works. I was hoping to get the pull focus to work but I cant seem to do it. And I follow the steps one by one. Does anyone have a solution

Is the focus on your camera set to manual or automatic when you try pulling focus with the Ronin?

Thanks for the video, my problem is I have a 24-70 lens and it works fine when I zoom in, but when I zoom out, the focus comes off the motor from the cable. I think the cable is too thin. I tried the cable on the focus side, the performance is very good there, so the focus is on, but when I switch from 24 to 70, the performance is good, but when I want to switch from 70 to 24, the cable comes out. What I should do?

and it works fine with Panasonic GH5 and GH5s :) But I just switched to Sony so thats why I'm here :)

Hey, So im shooting on the FX3 which is the exact same as the a7siii, but in my settings, when PC remote is on, it wont let me change the USB connection to PC remote at all, its gryed out, any help?

Sony A6500 don’t have the option on ronin app to set the zoom Speed. Do you know why ?

What's the firmware of your app? Firmware of the Ronin-S? Which cable are you connecting with?

Hey thanks for commenting, I just added links in the description for RS3 and RS2 dongles. If you want to control focus get the USB-C one, if you want to control zoom get the Micro-USB one. Setup should be similar to everything I go over in the video. Let me know if you need anything else cleared up!

AMAZING REVIEW THE BEST!!!!! I own a 28-135 f4 G and its fucking heavy. A pain in the ass to balance, I use it with a A7r II and having the lens OSS, the 5 axis in body and the ronin S, everything makes it fucking smooth.
