I found the BGM very distracting. I tend to not be able to focus fully when other sounds occur. It's like two people talking at the same time with different stories. Interesting tutorial.
Hey man I don't know if you're still responding to questoins on this video, but do you think you could explain how to get to the free AV technonogist exam? I'm trying to find it and I can't call since they're closed right now so any help would be much appreciated! Edit: after doing abit of reading I've noticed how that I have to have elite or premium to take the test for free.
Ive found that you have to really tighten the head onto the body. I mean like tighter than what you can do with just your hands. I found that when i used a tool to really tighten it on good I could pan all day left and right and the head stays on.
I have a Ronin S and a Sony A7s3 with Sigma 24-70 2.8 lens. I also have the original MCC-C cable but when I connect all of this madness together only the Start/Stop record button on the Ronin S works. I was hoping to get the pull focus to work but I cant seem to do it. And I follow the steps one by one. Does anyone have a solution
Thanks for the video, my problem is I have a 24-70 lens and it works fine when I zoom in, but when I zoom out, the focus comes off the motor from the cable. I think the cable is too thin. I tried the cable on the focus side, the performance is very good there, so the focus is on, but when I switch from 24 to 70, the performance is good, but when I want to switch from 70 to 24, the cable comes out. What I should do?

I have Sony A7 iV + 24-70 GM ll do you think that can work properly ? Please I will really appreciate if u answer me that cause is my biggest issues right now about to shoot in vertical mode
I'm using a 24-70 Sigma lens on an A7S3 so the weight shouldn't be an issue but if you already have a cage for your camera try mounting it vertically on your RS3 and save the money.
There's no trouble with that lens, it's on my A7S3 like 85% of the time for all my shoots. I don't think I've mentioned it in any of my videos yet but the trick with gimbals is to balance it halfway extended (around 50mm) and then zooming in or out doesn't completely throw it out of wack. It's a fantastic lens. Hope that helps!
@@CrazyLightsProductions thanks man, but the DG OS HSM ART version is what I'm going for. I'm guessing you're talking about the newer DG DN Art version right?
@@bahaatamer1245 Yeah the only version for Sony E-Mount is the DG DN version without OS. What I said about balancing at 50mm would still be applicable for the older model though. If you don't want any issues you should just go with the Canon RF 24-70mm 2.8. Yeah it's more expensive, but adapting will make the lens longer (trickier to balance on a gimbal) and it'll make autofocusing slower. Depends on what your needs are. Hopefully they start making RF mount Sigma ART lenses soon!
Hey thanks for commenting, I just added links in the description for RS3 and RS2 dongles. If you want to control focus get the USB-C one, if you want to control zoom get the Micro-USB one. Setup should be similar to everything I go over in the video. Let me know if you need anything else cleared up!

Hello I have a Sirui R-3213X Tripod that has 3 screws for tightening. But I want to tighten down my Acratech 74mm Leveling Base to the tripod but that leveling base does not have a flat bottom. Do you know if and where I could replace the 3 short screws with 3 longer ones.
I have the same problem with manfrotto element smal tripod. The ballhead unscrewed with my camera on and I grabbed it the last sec. But the smal screw at the bottom won't do any difference in the matter of unscrewing. I very tried it,but it made no difference.
