I also got this error (3 years old spark). I think this is a contact error and therefore fixed the knock. This method does not work for everyone because contact is uncertain. If the oxidation is already strong enough, it hits in vain ...
Kindly connect your spark with app and after connecting dont take off it from app. Just left stick down to 4 clock & right stick to 7 clock position togather and it will takeoff smooth.
