Just got one to go with my Mav Pro. Backup is always nice and I love the features. Have yet to fly but that should happen very soon if not today. I used to fly ARF 450 and 550 DJI kits with hacked Naza Lite FC’s, and all the add on’s like VTX, Flytrex, board cams, mushroom antennas, and an alarm on the batts balance cable to let you know you better land now. I’ve had Yuneec Q500, and the H. Picked up a Mavic Pro a year and a half ago and have just been in love with it. Point being, you can see how my mind is just blown by what this tiny drone can do as compared to the tech of the past 6-7 years. Been a sub here for some time now, always great information sir👍🇨🇦

I don't understand all the controversy over range. For hobbiests you can't fly out of site in the US anyway. I am getting the package with the controller because I don't like the idea of the phone sticks but many people could fly without buying anything but the base package..

I love your videos! Im planning to buy one this week. Can i fly it in a place where there losts of wifi? Will it affect my connection to the drone?

This might be a dumb question but does the drone have built in wifi and the phone connects or your phone needs to have data/wifi to connect to the drone? Also I want to get a spark and is wondering whether the drone begins to capture video as soon as it starts up

Could you do a review showing the different photo modes? I haven't seen any information showing the different photo modes. Normal, burst etc. Especially how the timed mode works.

nice looking drone, very good first impressions video! would you think that it would work in a high dust environment? I'm looking for a small solid drone to use in cave environments, might go about mounting a lumicube on top. mostly I'm looking for a way to peer up over cliffs to see whether it's worth climbing and rugged drones fill that niche perfectly.

Not everyone is professional..I had the inspire one and the phantom 3,4 and also the Mavic pro now I can't wait for my spark..I do lots extreme in bad weather Kite boarding it was a game changer when I got the Mavic pro with a flat for design it doesn't tip over especially landing on the breeze now I'm super excited I can use much cheaper but still Dji brand the spark with the Active track features I'm a happy camper...it's not about the quality of the video it's all about the moment was captured...

Do you have a hard time spotting the drone with the meadow green color? I mean if trees/shrubs are at the background? Im having a hard time choosing between that and the yellow color. Subscribed.

Whats up!!! what a sick drone!! The coolest thing is the gesture control. I think the only problem I would have would be the somewhat draggy 2 axis footage like at 9:04, but even that is not that bad. This drone would be awesome for a group of friends or family wanting to take a picture or video , like you said. Awesome overview!!!!

why sometimes i cant moving spark to the left if the right side of the prop guard touch the wall? AFAIK only front camera can sense obtacle...

10:04 - Using WiFi on your Phone may not go very far but a Tablet or Laptop should get a bit further. You could rig up an an Android Laptop with an external WiFi and a directional antenna on a pole.

Nice review. There was no mention of a hand held transmitter in the overview although one is shown on the DJI website with a footnote stating "when FCC compliant". What, if any, additional information is available to you on a transmitter and added performance with the transmitter over WIFI and optical controls? Thanks.

I have ordered a Spark but I think the gimbal looks a little vulnerable , my Phantom 3 had the legs to protect it so I hope someone if not DJI will bring out a protector. Nice informative video.

Have you tried a range extender on your remote, basically a set of parabolic reflectors. I’ve seen a video where a man got close to 4 miles with it, though that was away from any cities, so no interference from other radio sources.

this looks awesome. How come so many RU-vid reviews compare it to the mavic? IMO they're two different drones serving two different user types. this would more accurately compared to pocket and selfie drones like dobby, wingsland s6 and others of that type (selfie, travel, and casual users). But in those categories this blows them away. it's like a mid point between a selfie and a professional photography drone: somewhere in the middle.

How are you in Tripod Mode (Intelligent Flight Mode) without a GPS signal? IFM is disabled when in ATTI mode due to lack of GPS signal.

Hey I heard the spark is waterproof you should do water drench video you're probably going to get millions review on it...soak it down with water or fly in the rain

So, with the controller it is $650... The current market price of the Phantom 3 Advanced is also around $650. The Phantom 3 Advanced has much greater range and has Lightbridge. It also has a better 2.7k video camera that can shoot 1080p @ 60fps (vs. 30 fps with the Spark) It has much longer flight times. It flies much faster. Like the Spark, It does have a vision positioning system (optical flow) that augments the GPS system for very accurate hover. If you want a drone that you can (kinda) fly up close with hand signals, the Spark sounds cool. But otherwise, the P3A sounds like a much more useful platform for the money.

Nice , I like it ! I hope DJI will speed up and make a constant effort to keep the spark available because it will sell. I bet after the first shipment the next won't be until Aug just my opinion and that will suck.

Good Overview Of The Dji Spark. But You Forget To Do One Thing With This Overview. The Dji Spark Has Face Recognition That Allows To Start The Drone In Your Hand, And Also You Can Use Hand Gestures To Move The Drone Around.

Im a kid with almost no money so the spark for me is legendary I don't shot or post in 4k so it not a problem

except the prop guards AREN"T universal, they are actually coded with white marks just like the props.

Why is it that most reviews I've watched never once mention that Spark's photo format is only JPEG. It's not as expensive as the Mavic but that was the deal breaker for me enough to return it. I think it's sleezy marketing to say it shares the same camera as the Mavic but yet a simple dng raw format could not be integrated into this. It's still $500 actually $699 for my bundle but still not cheap. Even Amazon do not put this specs on their website.

They should make it so you can launch the Spark off the Mavic, off the ...
