I'm wondering if its better to have the tracks playing in the view of horizontal, which seems the default or as you have verticall, side by side...i think it looks cleaner the way you've set it out. I would imagine that's the view on an integrated controller.

Play around with it and see what suits you best. There is no right or wrong way when it comes to djing

hey thank you so much! but i have a question: if tempo goes back to normal as soon as we're off the wheel, how come the adjustments you make to the second track in your exemple stay for long? Thanks

Because if you use the tempo slider to the right this adjusts the overall tempo of the track. See this as cruise control as it controls the overall track speed, and the jog wheel as hitting the accelerator or brakes for short bursts. As soon as you as you stop moving the jog wheel the tempo always returns to the tempo the track has been set to.

@@djkarlthomas I dont understand sorry hahah, so it doesnt change anything if you change the speed? I think also that you're using the vinyle mode on the last example since we can see the blue circle around the tempo also

I don’t understand your question? If you adjust the tempo slider it adjusts the bpm of the track permanently until you move the tempo slider to a new position. If you move the jog wheel this also adjusts the bpm however the moment the jog wheel stops moving it returns to the bpm to whatever it is set to. In the last example of this video the left deck is in CDJ mode, the right is in vinyl mode.
