The new Luke course is exactly what I've been looking for as someone who wants to do more beat-enhancing production instead of full-on from the ground up production. Thanks so much for doing it! With all your courses, some of which are pretty expensive, it can add up. Bulk discounts or getting a certain percentage off of the next course we buy when purchasing the more exclusive and expensive courses from top DJs, should be available. It would incentivize DJs to buy more than one course which benefits DDJT while saving us funds in the process. It's a win-win. Speaking of which, please do courses taught by (in no particular order): 1) James Zabiela - the sickest technologically savvy DJ I've EVER seen. No one makes better use of today's DJ tools or has the level of grasp of modern DJ tech. 2) Tigerstyle - a living legend. Watch his '' PRIME 4 - THE IMPOSSIBLE EDM PERFORMANCE '' to see what I mean. 4) Dj Enferno - another live remixing beat-making genius. I went from Vinyl str8 to the DN-200F in a cabinet when I moved to Kauai. coincidentally, since moving to Traktor P3 I haven't had the need, but now I have a library of music on CD. The pandemic had me finding a working American Audio DCD-PRO10 at a pawn shop for $50! 😎

I think of more than 2 deck mixing as the parts of what you play. One is more low-end, one is maybe vocal or melodic, one is groove that fits. A 4th deck is always a waiting track or the second layer to switch or juggle in. As far as skills go, yeah that's a work in progress. Lol. I do think the genre of the music and the audience and staying in key is important.

I love the flexibility of having 4 channels. You can't beat it.

Does anyone remember the Mac app called DJ-1800 that looked exactly like that old rack mounted Denon CD players? I used to play parties with that app! It was awesome!! Google it,,, it looks like it’s still available,,, if you have a very old Mac lying around!!

Cool!! I love Laidback Luke's channel (can't believe he hasn't been on Joe Rogan given the martial arts connection but Rogan doesn't seem familiar with electronic music). Have been following his vlog tutorials. He's actually playing live in a week close to where I live in NJ but I'm paranoid about the delta thing this and that LOL my loss! (tho it's actually an outdoor daytime show come to think of it maybe i will go...).

Phil, Luke, thanks for another great video! Can you choose which layer the LC6000 controls? So, if I had SC6000x2 either side of the mixer, and 2x LC6000 on stands above, could I assign the LC to layer A rather than B so it’s controlling the top waveform? Cheers Guys

Is this the controller you almost pulled out when you wanted to show an example and put it back. I said it was this when you did that a couple weeks ago. Ben tried to play it off or he didn't really know. lol

I haven't got a chance to watch this live last night because I'm busy with school, I'm sorry but I'm really thankful to rewatch the stream, but I've heard about this yesterday and I'm curious to see if it works with rekordbox DJ

In serato: using the sampler as a third deck is not handy at all. Is there any hardware to make it handy? Or can I expand my set up by adding a CDJ? I need something affordable and compatible with my Pioneer SX3. Maybe compatible with any upgraded controller in the near future. Please advise! Thanks!

I know you mentioned it earlier Phil but which software is the LC6000 currently compatible with other than Engine Prime ?

Does it fit on the Prime 4 display if you need to show more than two wave forms in parallel?
