Nice build dude, i made a sub250 Djinn on 6S, gamechanger for this was the CNHL 450mah 6S Lipos...

I am really tempted to try 6s on it, hmm.

It’s a great little frame, built one and it’s one of my favourites right now for around the yard and public places. I used same FC stack and DJI, but used 2750 motors for 6s batteries. Awesome!

nice, what 6s batteries are you using? and whats the total weight? just in case i want to convert to 6s in the future :D
@vpimaging

I use 380 most of the time and get about 2.5 to 3 mins of flight time only at weight of 236. The 650 battery will double flight time and weigh 279. 650 is awesome, but 380 will keep you under 250. Cheers.

Built mine with a tmotor F7 stack 45a esc. And tmotor 1404 2900KV with tattu rline 650mah 6S lipos and its amazing... Comes in at 278 grams... Perfectly tuned and freestyles amazing . I originally built a 4s version, but 6S is the way to go. Its now called just F25. I also have 4 of their F5 kwads and love em'

Nice! I have thought about going 6s, but I've chosen to make sure it is below 250g. What were you missing since you went to 6s? Was it just the voltage sag, or some power too?

This is a smooth and well-crafted video, giving off a professional vibe. If the title were changed to Djinn F25, it would likely make it easier for interested people to find.

Sorry for off-topic. Help me please with a choice of FPV camera and VTX for a 5" quad(analog). Something decent/good(not the best and most expensive), better than i have(Foxeer XAT600M и Eachine TX526 600mW). Also what antenna and where to buy for goggles. Thanks a lot!!!

hey, no worries. i really wish i could help you, but i'm not vary familiar with the cameras for analog. l When it comes to antennas, foxeer makes pretty good antenna, and for analog, it seems most people are using RHCP. really wish i could help. the next best thing i can do is send you towards joshua bardwells channel, or website, you can check up on his recommendations for analog here : www.fpvknowitall.com/fpv-shopping-list-goggles-video-transmitters-and-cameras/ sorry i couldnt help more.

Thanks for the great review! Regarding the motors - I think 1404 is the best option, but why did you choose 4600kv? Do u think 3000 is not enough?
@RaukFPV
@RaukFPV 4 месяца назад
for 2.5 inch props, with a 4s batter thats 16.8v and a kv of 4600, gives a theoretical motor rpm of 77280, which with a 2.5" propeller, ends up being a mach 0.74, max performace is just around 0.8 so im not too far off. while using a 3000kv with a 4s battery is 50400 rpm, which is mach 0.48, which in my opinion is a little low. with a 3000kv i would go with a 6s battery which would equal to mach 0.73. which is is good too. the reason is that i had the 4600kv motors as 4s batteries in this size. if i had nither i would consider going for a 6s build if i could get it below the 250g limit as well. and in that case i would go with something like 3000kv.

Using your spec as reference, I ordered 1404 4600kv for 4s as well. May I know where do you get that Mach for max performance and actual value you get from your build?
@RaukFPV
@RaukFPV 4 месяца назад
i use the theoretical approach, the calculations are (prop diameter in inches*pi)*((kv*voltage)/60)=speed in inch/s then use a converter to get from inch/s to m/s and then from m/s to mach. (there are websites that does this for you) there will be some variances to to altitude, temperature and such, but as a theoretical approach its a guideline. so for my 2.5 inch build it looks like this (2.5*3.14)*((4600*16.8)/60) = 10110.8 inch/s or 574.477273 mph or 256.81432 m/s or Mach 0.74873 as we get closer to mach 1 (speed of sound) the propeller gets a of noise and strain, so in general we want to stay a bit lower. and there's a bit of personal preference when it comes to propeller speed as well. some will get closer to mach 1, the props will be screaming. while others want a more lower power build. it also depends on what you need, for freestyle getting somewhere between mach 0.8-0.9 seems good, while for cinewhoops we can go lower as we dont need so much of the top end. hope it makes sense :D

I would like this to be my first self build but no one has a build tutorial online :(
@RaukFPV
@RaukFPV 5 месяцев назад
It's pretty much the same as any other drone. Most freestyle drones are made the same way. This one is just a little smaller. Is there anything specific you need in a tutorial, or is it just a general tutorial for building this?

@@RaukFPV I will go with MurdersFPV tutorial for the quadmula f3 frame build. It's the closest thing I could find. And with some help from our lord Joshua Bardwell should probably do it. But the fear of the first build still remains :D better get to it then :)

It sounds like you did your research. :) Don't be afraid, just take it slow, and I'm sure you can do it first try!
