Been using this battery for 6mo+ without issue. Handles 1000W easily. Looking to get 2-3 more. Pretty happy so far. Looks like you can almost fit 2 sets of cells inside the huge case...
I can confirm that the carcinogenic smell is still alive and well after having the battery for 6 months. Also opened 2 of these batteries purchased 4 months apart. Different cells and bms's between each unit. One is jbd and the other is some no name.
I show my method in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ep__TSSQ5eU.htmlsi=vbuU8UD2Hunv8tER&t=418 Now, as always do it at your own risk, I advise against it, don't do it, all that jazz :) Thanks
What type of bolts are they using to connect the battery leads to the terminals inside the case? Looks like M8 (5/16) bolts but I can't tell for sure...
Hi, I was wondering if you have a good reference for Moseworth batteries? Supposedly they are from the same people of Flypower. The 100ah lifepo4 model on Ebay (USA) are in 175$ with free shipping. I am undecided between the Moseworth and the EcoWorthy also 100ah which cost about 190$. Which one would you recommend?
@BradCagle Thanks for the reply. I watched another video where someone was sent a battery and it was really good construction and components. He wanted another one so he bought the same battery. He tested the amp hours and they were low so he opened it up. All of the internal components were cheap components and not the quality components in his test battery. They even forgot a nut on a bolt and it was rattling around in the case. He surmised the battery they sent him was a special build just for the test and not a representation of the actual quality of the batteries they sell.
@@BradCagle that’s what I said. I know they sell a 120ah 12v battery. Maybe they put the wrong sticker on mine. I was so confused by the result I did two more tests. Measured the ah that went into the battery while charging which was 124ah. The second test was identical 124ah discharged and 124ah charged. The most ah I’ve ever gotten from a 100ah lifepo4 12v battery was from Timeusb which was 104ah. Chins gave me 102ah. Powerqueen was 102ah. Expertpower was 100ah on the dot. Very surprised with the results from the DJ battery. Ironically, it was the least amount of money I’ve ever spent on a 12v 100ah lifepo4 battery at $219. Edit: they sell a 150ah battery. So I have no clue now.
@@shakdidagalimal comparing a 48v bank to $14 lattes in idiotic. This is the cheapest 48v 100ah battery bank your going to be able to make unless you go with Lead Acid. Still not saving much with Lead acid and the Lead Acid wouldnt last nearly as many cycles as the lifepo4.
its seems most of the battery reviews i watch these days the batts. are passing the capacity test. I guess that means these battery companies are getting better cells ?
Yup, it's very rare to find one not passing. I think it mostly has to do with people reviewing the batteries, and testing. If no one was doing this, pretty sure many would be over rating them, and using poor construction.
@@BradCagle Out here doing the Lords work keeping them accountable! I just purchased a bunch of batteries that look like this one. Just generic graphics. Need to pull one apart and see if it looks the same inside.
@@BradCagle I wonder if they will bump the price once they have some sales or if it will stick at $220. Can't imagine they are making anything after getting them shipped to the USA and pay the FBA fees.
nice price.. just too much dead room inside the case..if they make it a small mini case and price it for about 200 bucks it will sell like hot cakes and the 200ah 12v normal size will be the new normal size and maybe price it 400 bucks or so just depending if has bluetooth ect..
Yeah, I like to see smaller cases. But I think the thing with this case size is it's widely available, and cheap to obtain. I don't think the battery manufactures actually mold the case, they just buy them from a case manufacture, and assemble.
@BradCagle, I agree on the case being widely available. Also, people are used to seeing a 12V battery being a specific size, and I think that makes them more comfortable.
