Federer retired at the age of 41 so i don't see why would Novak do so at the age of 37. Federer wanted the same thing and couldn't do it. Novak obviously can, so let him do it. Stop retiring Novak!

Djokovic most likely retires after Olympics 2028 or 2028 season. I mean what else is he going to accomplish after?

Federer played 2 or 3 matches 3 years before he retired😂.

Hey John & company. Long time no speak. Sorry I've been out of touch. You know my feelings on this achievement by Nole. But really - any true tennis fan has to say that this match was one we will remember for the ages. As Rennae Stubbs said on the commentary, the level of tennis, with momentary exceptions, was "from another galaxy." And I agree completely - this took Nole from a completely down year to a smashing success. I admire him so much for the laser focus he places on each potential achievement. It's not as if all the other players don't want to achieve exctly the same. Yet he stands above. The critical game, to me, was the service game for Djokovic at 4-4 in the first set. So many break points saved. He absolutely had to have that game, and he got it. I also agree 100% that the quintessential shot for me was the running, cross court forehand winner at the end of the match. I will see that in my mind forever.

Seriously John. You trying the whole time do say Carlos played badly which is why Novak won….so tiring to hear again and again people try and downplay Novaks greatness. The match was at the highest level and Novak won! Acknowledge it. Huge respect to Novak!!!!!!

I’d like to see Novak get a 5th to tie record. Obviously an 8th wimbledon. He only needs a few titles to overtake federers overall titlles. He doesn’t need connors as he was not in same era anyway and older players won way more than that before open era. Monte carlo would be awesome too as it would be a triple career masters! Oh and I almost forgot 25😂

In 2023 Wimbledon finals, if Novak hadn't netted those regulation backhands at 6-5 set point in second set, he would have been comfortably home two sets to love and such a deficit would be a mountain to climb for anybody. That "if" translating into an outcome would have changed the whole complexion of tennis history and their rivalry. The kid became too lucky in tie break and that is the truth .
