I went to this temple 26 years ago. But today after seeing this video only realised the blis fullness on praying the dieties. Even I m longing to visit the temple again

I am neither a student of carnatic music nor a person who knows much about MSD but I totally enjoyed every second of this video. Thanks to both of you for such a divine experience. 👏🙏🏼
The series so entices me to visit every one of these kshetras. And now when I visit them, I have the means to enjoy them more with the songs you cover. One humble request: can you please cover one of the Panchabhootam kshetras in one of the upcoming episodes?
Very nice content and very useful information, wa really it's amazing 🤩😍 simply adbhutha, fabulous explanation very very thanks 🙏. Please make a hemavati about the Sri kantimatim krithi of Kolluru kshetram , today is very happiest day because of deekshitar kshetra darshana episode wow wow wow
Just wonderful exposition. Keep up your good work. AMBAAJI is with both of you. she is everything. Protects our Bharath in all directions... Kanyakumari in South, Ksheer Bhavani in North, Dakshina Kaali in East and Ambaaji in West.
another blissful listening experience about the punya kshetram Tiruvaiyar.Aural & Visual treat. This is the reference video for both the place & Madhyamavati ragam.Congratulations! narayanan vedantham
So beautiful and divine with music and explanation, gives a feel of boundless devotion MSD garu felt in the composition and thank you so much team for starting this series and giving us the experience, you are blessed🙏🙏
This vdo presented holiness of Shri Dharmasam Vardhini Ambal in eyes / context of composer Great Saint Shri Muthu Swami Deekshidar . Swami narrates Ambal in a different way with wonderful words in the Keerthana, which is the highlight of this presentation. We need to re play and listen to this clip many times to understand deep meaning of Shri Deekshithar. Really Great and wonderful presentation with Narration and relacant Ragas & Keerthanas . My whole hearted best wishes to entire team. God bless you and Team.
Namaskarams. Thank you for sharing this very enlightening meaning and rendition of the composition. As we sing this song while also understanding the meaning , its a very different experience. I didn’t know the meanings before and this is transformational . As students of Carnatic music , our first endeavour is to repeat what the Guru teaches and then memorise sahityams . Next step for the seeker is internalising the composition and singing the Raga and composition true to its form in our own distinct voice and emotion (feel the song really ). The meaning really is the next level in the singer’s interpretation of the composition . I found too that the explanations of Madhyamavathi and raga development along with the excellent Kshetra references v helpful to lift our delivery of this song . Both of you , thanks a lot ya . Thank you .
Such 😮 a marvelous idea. This is much needed to be thought to the present younger generation. Great move wish u great success. Looking forward for thiruvanaikaval
Thank all of you for such a beautiful episode...so much detailing..so much information and knowledge from this one....May God give all of you more strength in every way to continue the divine work you all are doing
There's a huge list of temples that Muthuswamy Dikshithar has visited and sung about in Chola country and I'm impatient to see all of them in this series. I'm also aware of the amount of work involved in making one episode. Keep them coming ! I eagerly look forward to each episode. Well made series, good storyline, and narration.
Another precious gem in the DKD Series. It is so amazing to know so many nuances and details like the possible reason behind starting swara Rishaba in each sections of the krithi and Rishaba deva, and the raga madhyamavathi associated with the stages of speech. It is Spellbinding to know the amount of details and history researched behind each episode of DKD bringing out the glory of the composer. Thank you Sir and the entire team 🙏
At 3.38 you both are seen doing apradakshina; It is understandable as one of the personalities is a self proponent and stage manages with his influence over HRCE by filming in such locales. J.krishnamohan
Thank you so much.Even a layman like me could appreaciate the carnatic music and enjoy the blissful scene.A small request is that, in the start or in the end, if the entire kriti is presented, it would be awesome
Wow!!. so well presented. Thanks to one and all in the team.Brings forth Bhakthi and Gyana so well incorporated in our culture bringing mellowness in our interactions with the world. Thank you so much.
you are reaching the very right audience... i am trying to learn more about the raga madhyamavathi, hence ended up here. fortunate to get to know about Guruguhaameta.
After reading Bharanidharan's book covering Dikshitar's travels(Vikatan), it was my personal dream to sing Dikshithar krithis in the respective kshetras, but I hadn't made much progress. It was so heart warming to discover this series that brought my dream to life ! I just made a humble contribution to this collecive.VardhathAm Abhivardatham ! Namaskarams!

@gravikiran, of course this episode was very informative, blissful singing and virtual visit to the temple was divine. But beyond that it had a kind of calming effect after watching this episode. Maybe because it is on Devi. Best wishes to you
How very blessed you both are to give us all such wonderful gift thru your selfless effort and uplifting us. May god bless you with abundance and more. Namaskaram to you and your team.
Absolutely wonderful and enthralling!! I have a small request, can u please post the amazing composition sung in it’s entirety, as a separate post perhaps? Thank you so much!!
Absolutely blissful!! Can't thank you guys enough! Can't wait to move over to Tiruvarur and the dozens of episodes that will be required to cover all His great krithis centered on Thyagaraja, Kamalamba, the Sodasha Ganapathis, etc!
Tearful pranams. Hara is not destruction but laya. Death is temporary laya and moksha is the eternal laya for an Athma according to Mahaperiyava. So let's not fear death.
